Like I’m 100% fine with getting up at 5:30 as long as I get 7-8 hrs of sleep but sometimes my body’s just like “lol time to wake up” and if I can’t fall back asleep after 15 min I know it’s futile

that was me except it was like every day for two years. like i'd wake up after 5 and half or 6 hrs and cant fall back asleep cause im not sleepy. then im in migraine zombie mode all day. f---in eye bags and everything. i'd be tryin every supplement, sleeping pill, curtains, diff bed, all that s---.

found out eventually it was breathing issues through my nose cause my nose was so deviated that my airway was completely obstructed. got a septoplasty and they straightened that s--- out and now i sleep like an absolute infant.

like holy s--- the impact that restfulness has on your mood, attitude, outlook is insane. legit forgot what it was like to not feel like s---.

naw but it happens to me when I'm drunk for sure. But in that case I always feel better if I get up, chug some water/eat some food/ibuprofen if necessary, take a gross beer s---, and shower. Cuz you can always get back in bed/on the couch after lol

Honestly I feel like I should look into this because recently I've been having a lot of trouble staying asleep. I think it might just be general stress cuz I slept fine in mexico but if it's ongoing I def should to a sleep study or some s---.

Yea if it continues you should definitely see a doctor. If it’s sleep apnea you definitely want to get treatment and a plan in place to address it. Sleep apnea can apparently be devastating to one’s health.

I honestly never really had trouble sleeping til the past year or so when there's been a lot of stress/change/turbulence in my life, so honestly I think it's probably that. But if it continues once I get thangs all sorted out, I'm def gonna see a doctor cuz I need my sleep.

Maybe u already mentioned but how many hours u sleep? I can't get asleep before like 11/12 pm so if I have to get up early it means I don't sleep more than 5-6 hours every night for a week or so. Never had a problem w it tho since I don't seem to need much sleep

I need my regular 7-8 hours to feel my best. I'm good with 6 hours for a couple days as long as I get back on my 7-8 hours after that, but by day three of less than 7-8 it starts to wear on me.

Hmm yeah in that case you definitely shouldn't wait too long to see a doctor if it continues that way.

Mon-Fri my alarm goes off at 0550. Usually snooze once, maybe twice and get out of bed. Last few months I've been snoozing 3 or 4 times but I put that down to it being winter and depressing.

Saturday and Sunday I'll wake up at 0730 and get out of bed at 0800. Or earlier if the boy demands it!
