Best thing for Steelers is to unload LeVeon and AB... Also probably get rid of Ben, or at least transition from him in this off-season. Their defense has been rebuilt the last few years.

Like, you guys have Juju and Connor, they're solid replacements for AB/Bell.

They waited too long for these trades though. They should have done it a year or two ago, and they probably could have gotten two first rounders for them, and gotten a QB this year or last year. Most likely they're not gonna get much back for them, because teams know they NEED to unload them. s-----y situation.

I don't think they can win with the current players AND Tomlin. I don't think Tomlin has any order of the locker-room, and it kills them.

Even Belichick lost the locker-room in 2009. And in 2010, he shipped out everyone he thought was ruining the locker-room (Randy Moss, Adalius Thomas, etc).

Once Ben started questioning whether he wanted to come back or not, I would have unloaded Bell/AB and started thinking about Ben's replacement.

You probably could have traded them, gotten a top pick, and probably have had Patrick Mahomes right now.

big ben, despite his age, is obviously still playing good football. and the steelers have had one of the best offenses over the last few years--so why you would think they should start looking for his replacement is beyond me lol. that's like saying the patriots should move on from tom brady just because he's pushing 42 year old. he's still playing good football--who cares how old he is

big ben threw 34 TDs last season. good luck trying to convince someone they need to start looking for his replacement lol

Wait, did you just compare Big Ben's situation to Tom Brady's? LOL.

Tom has been rated as the top player in the NFL the last couple seasons. He's been an MVP, or an MVP candidate the last 8 years lol. I don't think Ben has been considered for that. In that top NFL players' list, Tom hasn't dropped lower than 4th lol.

They've been to 8 straight conference title games, 3 straight Super Bowls. They've been to 5 Super Bowls in 8 years. They've won 3 of the last 5 Super Bowls.

And in saying all of that, most Pats fans are panicking that we don't have a backup plan for Tom when he leaves. Yeah he's playing great, and I'm sure next year Tom will be fine, but eventually he won't and they need a plan for when that happens.

Also, Ben has voiced that he doesn't know if he wants to play football the last few seasons. Tom Brady has NEVER said that. Tom has said he plans to play until he's 45. It's completely different, and EVEN THEN, most intelligent Pats' fans would say they want them to be ready for the transition.

Put it this way, I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats draft a QB this year in the first two rounds. It's the SMART move.

And I'm saying that after the Pats just won their 6th Super Bowl ring.
