    Yeah it was pretty bad today and Portugal deserved the win.

    Cilissen definitely should have had that shot (the goal) but several players were below average. Depay & Dumfries (cough PSV cough) were terrible and somehow they couldn't get through the defense.. it was too slow and predictable.

    But like u said I have faith that this team is gonna do gr8 in the feature. Little biased ofc but loved the Ajax players playing their CL game these last few matches. But would have been nice to win this as the first country..

    It's been a lot of fun, a lot of great storylines (most grossly exaggerated by the American press from our perspectives). Happy to see overall more coverage, the women's game has still long strides to fight at club level--honestly it's an almost impossible task due to TV rights, lack of large venues & an array of misplaced identity politics.

    Copa America has been largely underwhelming quality wise, VAR interfered too much and most of the major players came off grueling seasons so they weren't at their best. Now the Gold Cup, while lacking the quality, has been a surprising spectacle--Haiti's run to the semis was incredible! This would have been a cakewalk for Mexico had we been at full-strength squad wise. US men's is a mess lmao, their games are like shooting craps, I never know what to expect.

    They were EC winner 2 years ago in Holland :)

    But w the WC, nah never. And Sweden?

    USA is definitely the strongest team so either one of our ladies is gonna have a difficult task... but nothing is impossible!

    Oh yeah i totally forgot about the EC. Nah never won the WC but we did get bronze two wc ago in 2011, however i definitely consider our team to be one of the strongest this time so this game will for sure be intense.

    lmao @ how huge the difference can be between the men and the women teams, imagine if the US mens team did even go to the semifinals

    Yeah kinda weird since US has the biggest choice in people (quantity) but the quality there isn't as big since football isn't as important as it is in Europe. Which makes even a small country like us be a lot better lol

    I'm so happy for him, he's gonna play for his childhood club and Real fans are gonna love him. He was the best player in the Premier League easily for me.

    What a game, could pretty much tell what was goin to happen when it went to overtime tho, our team looked so tired and out of focus. Kudos to both teams for playing for so long in that heat, i can for sure tell that swedes arent used for that kind of heat.
    Now lets beat them english speaking countries!
    Would be crazy if you win both EC and WC

    Sweden was so much better for 90 mins lol. We just had the longest breath and played better in ET. The goal was great tbh.
