    Great show. Gets a little sloppy at times.. like the end of the finale got a little weird. Either way low key top 5 show. Interested to see where they take this characters in S2.

    i was actually really impressed with the shots and choreography with the outro but as the closing scene, i wasn’t f---ing with it..and it’s HBO, they could’ve easily given us a 90 min finale

    speaking of which, the cinematography is so f---ing refreshing and captivating like g.d., some of the shots in this show almost feels like i’m watching tv in 2035

    I liked it overall, but not feeling it quite as much as everyone else seemed to..watched the finale last night, I'd check out a season 2 though for sure.

    I’ve been meaning to check this out. Maybe I’ll watch this once I’m done watching HBO’s other show called Succession. Succession season 2 starts in 2 weeks.

    Wow i guess i missed that somehow. They didnt mention it when they were doing flashback of her childhood. This trans bs just makes no sense tbh

    Really enjoyed this show so far. The development of each character is great. Loved the music and cinematography. I was a little disappointed with how the finale ended but I’m all in on season 2.

    The bulge was a dead giveaway. I think Jules was also injecting herself with hormones in one of the early episodes. Also, Nate's dad likes to b--- trans chicks.

    Show isn't bad but the finale was underwhelming. Cinematography and soundtrack is pretty on point.

    I found the Rue special quite interesting but I'll admit that I didn't connect with Jules' that much.
    Maybe it's because I didn't enjoy her character as much after she cheated on Rue near the end of S1 but idk.

    I won't plan to read any of this thread until I complete S2, but my gf and I just watched S1 the past couple weeks and this show is nothing short of incredible. Production, soundtrack, acting, plot, is all top notch. I haven't felt as much anxiety from watching anything (the first 4 episodes, in particular) since Uncut Gems (both A24 productions). To invoke that deep of an emotion for the audience is astounding.

    I liked this show a lot more than I thought I would.
