Aug 1, 2019 I haven’t listened to Chance much outside of the features he’s done over the past few years. I finally gave him a chance and checked this album. After listening all the way through, I don’t know what all the hype is about. He’s good melodically and a half-decent rapper at times, but he can’t put a song together to save his life. The album is massively bloated (22 tracks including skits!) and — quite simply — not good. There’s no singular vision that runs through this, just a bunch of songs released together to satisfy as many potential listeners as possible. Reminds me of Revival in that way, although it’s nowhere near as bad as that project.
Aug 3, 2019 Haven't listened to this album since I failed to get all the way through it on my first listen. However, I did revisit Acid Rap and Coloring Book. I seem to be the only person who has the opinion that Coloring Book is better than Acid Rap??
