Jun 12, 2019 Finished episode 1, started 2. Very well done. Will give my thoughts on Ep 1 later just wanted to stop by and say that I love how they, even if its from 1989, found a way to make fun of / criticize 2019 Trump thru old video's lol 'Its gonna be a one-day-fly anyways' Spoiler Edit: finished episode 2. Aside from the content there's one major complaint I got here. They rushed this trail.. it came and went faster than the trials on 'Suits' lol. I really thought and kinda hoped it would be 4 episodes of the trial and all of it that happened in between the court scenes. I can't judge the show as a whole yet since I haven't seen 3 and 4, but d--- when the end of 2 happened I was like wait, already?
Jun 12, 2019 It’s not that they ‘found a way’ to make Trump look bad, him calling for the death penalty for those 5 was a huge deal so naturally he’s gonna be included in the story. Showing old footage was a better way to do it than having some actor play Trump.

Jul 13, 2019 Being from NYC, I've always known about this case and the fact that Trump took out full page ads calling for the death penalty to be used against them. This case also made the slang term "wildin" famous to the public eye. The series was really tragic and the subsequent interview with Oprah was even more gut wrenching, particularly when Antron was speaking. Truthfully, if this case happened now, the Woke Crowd would probably want these dudes imprisoned or worse. I think the series isn't just about police brutality, justice, racism, Trump etc. It's also a cautionary tale about getting all of the facts out and doing due diligence. The same people promoting this on social media would probably be the first to condemn them if it were to happen today.
Aug 21, 2019 I’m with ya for the most part @Tone Riggz except for “Truthfully, if this case happened now, the Woke Crowd would probably want these dudes imprisoned or worse.” I really don’t know what/who you mean in this claim. The lefty or “woke”...or whatever you want to call it...circles I run in would definitely condemn the police and justice system and fight for the rights for the kids who were accused of the crime. Conservatives would be on the side of police and would blame the kids with no evidence
Aug 21, 2019 Literally came in to say this. Great minds think alike. Watched the whole thing. Biased and doesn’t tell the whole story. Also, in general, just not a well put together show. Pacing and acting are off big time.
Aug 21, 2019 They were accused of beating and raping a woman. #MeToo definitely would have been in there ripping them apart and for the justice system exonerating them. I think it would also cause a rift in progressive circles with some people less likely to accept the exoneration than others.
