Sep 21, 2019 This primary is shaping up to be a two horse race (Biden v Warren) w/ two pretty close 3rd/4ths (Sanders/Harris) but the gap is widening. Still a lot of time left but if your candidate is polling in the low single digits, they’re probably done. I think a lot of them know that too. Castro is staying in to antagonize Biden/try to pull him to the left. I figured Beto was staying in for media spotlight until he’d eventually drop out & run for senate. The whole “we’re gonna come take your AR-15s” probably destroyed any chance of that happening.

He didn’t hit 1 million donors till Jan 2016 last election cycle. The polls mostly skew towards older voters. I’m talking voters over 50. And Bernie is still mostly in the top 2. Voters under 50 he’s #1. Don’t sleep on the Bern. Warren is solid but she’s Bernie Lite. Yang isn’t a typical politician and his UBI is decent but it cuts the needed safety net. Bernie has the best policies overall for everyday people and a consistent track record of fighting for the people.

Warren is much more vulnerable to lose to Trump than Bernie. Bernie flips those rust belt workers who twice voted for Obama and then turned to Trump. Those folks see Warren as Hillary 2.0. Latte liberals who think any ol blue will do. They don’t see things from the perspective of working class people in the rust belt, where Democrats should be focusing on.
