Oct 9, 2019 So I'm not sure if many people here know about my website (www.eminem.com.br) or if they follow my Instagram, but I was recently in Detroit and my buddy and I are working on a documentary about the hip hop scene in the D and Eminem and we actually got some pretty cool interviews on there. One of the most interesting ones is with DJ Butteh Fingiz, the guy that started alongside Eminem in the New Jacks/Bassmint Productions/Soul Intent and is even featured on Infinite. He shed so much light about the early days and clarified so many things that it's crazy how we've been misconceived all these years. Anyway, to keep it short, the track "One-Handed Juggler" which I'm sure many of you have "heard" or at least heard about, is not the real track... the one that's available on the internet is actually "Crackers And Cheese." The real "One-Handed Juggler" track and the "Soul Intent" track from the "Still In The Bassmint" tape have never seen the light of day. But me and Butteh got to talking and I'm going to help him release the real tracks very very soon. So we'll be getting some "new" Em music soon. Also, if anyone has any questions about the early days I'll be more than glad to answer them.
Oct 9, 2019 tell him thanks for me and i cant speak for anybody else but the interview sounds dope im looking forward to it !
Oct 10, 2019 Absolutely brother! The documentary is still under production but I'll release a few teasers in the meantime. And yeah, there's a lot of dope information he shared with us. I can't wait to share it with everyone.
Nov 4, 2019 Would like to see hopefully it’s better than the Untold story of Detroit Hip-Hop looks forward to hearing the unreleased Em tracks
Nov 5, 2019 I'm the buddy that went on the trip with him, we're planning on going back soon in the next couple of months to get more interviews since we ran out of time in our last trip, next time we'll be connecting with the DJ again and getting the tracks out. We're trying to make this a larger cleaner production, so far we've been really focusing on the era leading up to infinite with our interviews and story but we're still figuring out our angle of production which we will determine when we go back. We have the people to interview, it's just a matter of putting it all together into a cohesive story. If anyone of you would like to see a story you'd like to hear or that hasn't really been told about Em, let us know, we're doing this for the fans so they can get see people they haven't really seen or heard of and hear their stories in Eminem's career. If someone wants to post this on reddit feel free, I feel like the fans over there would have some neat ideas on stuff they'd want to see or hear.
Nov 5, 2019 kinda off topic but was just listening to d12 westwood and caught this: @ 21:23 Proof spits the One Handed Juggler bar. Think that's the only time I've seen Em acknowledge a bassmint/soul intent era song
Nov 5, 2019 We're trying! He's definetely on the list! Him and Fuzz Scoota. We got a connection who might know them, so we're really hoping. Anybody from that era that's been unheard of since we're trying to reach out to and share their story!
Jun 12, 2020 He was telling the truth about the never-heard-before Soul Intent unreleased tracks (those actually surfaced afterwards), so he doesn't really look like one of those guys https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-K5nHvSrBTY-4d1zaL8qGA
Jan 19, 2022 We've actually just concluded our last trip to Detroit and kinda wrapped things up there... we had a little bit of delay when the pandemic started but we're back on track. So expect something in the next few months. Hopefully by the end of the year it's out! If you're not following @shadyverse on IG yet, go check it out, I usually post Detroit stuff on there. Peace!
Jan 19, 2022 Did you ever manage to track down Eiy-Kyu? I know several people that tried to over the years, but it seemed like he disappeared off the face of the Earth.
