    Ngl first listen threw me back to how I felt first time listening to revival.

    I guess it’s not as musically out of touch as revival? Not really a hard thing to do but I agree it’s a revival tier album

    And eminem severely cares about what people think about his music. He’s still mentioning revival being a flop. If he really didn’t care what people think, he wouldn’t mention it every couple songs. Once this album gets torn apart and all the big podcast channels call it trash, Eminem will have some lame a--- kamikaze like song for a response.This is really it for him. He’s just recycling bars at this point. Idk if this album is even better than revival. They’re both terrible.

    I will say production wise, it’s his best produced album since relapse. Ed’s hook was fire. A few great beats. It’s just a lyrical mess. He still can’t flow on beat an entire song. No stand out song that’s going to blow up. Sounds like a demo or mixtape tbh.

    Man you re one of the guys I respect the most in here but in all honesty
    idk how tracks like reming me, heat, need me etc can be close with tracks
    like lock it up, darkness, no regrets, unaccommodating etc.

    On 2nd listen the album is almost flawless. My only issue is him attacking gun rights. His jab at white privilege makes up for that tho. Really nothing to complain about it. No shouting or choppy flow. Not bad for someone 15 years past their prime.

    I get the revival comparison in a way but this is miles better. It's what revival should've been

    I mean I agree with the Ed Sheeran track, that s--- was the only track off the Album I didn't like (better than river though) but if you say that songs with Skylar Grey is trash, you're pure hating just for the fun of it at this point
