    personally I feel calling this a Revival sequel is doing the album a disservice. this is just my opinion though.

    Revival was an absolute mess. These songs, while different, sound like they belong on the same album. give or take one or two. The 'love' songs were executed different from his usual "Tragic Endings" edgy screaming over Alex Da Kidd's trash can boppers. And he reached out and got some fresh voices on here. Young M.A. and Juice WRLD were dope additions. And got the OGs Black Thought and Q-Tip. Idk, I just really enjoy this album.

    I can see though, at least a little bit, why someone could make that Revival comparison. I just don't agree.

    Imagine if the album was true to the skits and kept the mood of the artwork through the whole track list and didn’t have Ed sheeran on it

    It brings together all aspects of em but in a more cohesive way than revival.

    Rap features , check
    Relationship song , check
    Personal record , check
    Diss towards people, check
    Horrorcore rap , check
    Slim shady bars, check

    He ticked all the boxes without going too far left or right.

    The short "Hello darkness, my old friend" sequences from Sound of Silence in Darkness are just great.

    Yeah I got my hopes up after seeing cover, tracklist, name of the album, Dre production credits and hearing the first track. I thought it would be Relapse 2 done right just with a different name. Em fooled me lol.

    I’m sure I’m gonna get a bunch of stans quoting me but it’s what I always say, he’s lost his artistry. Even when he knows what he wants to do he just can’t stick to it. Huge missed opportunity

    No Regrets is probably the best track so far.

    Chorus is nice and chill. Love it.

    Could have been phenomenal if it wasn't Eminem rapping.

    Yoo I couldn’t listen to Arose without crying for like a year cuz of my mom’s health at the time of the release, its crazy when music matches with your real life

    Yeah exactly. I have the same opinion on that and said the whole thing is such a huge missed opportunity. The same goes for MMLP2.
