    let's all at least appreciate the man is almost done with just using dry vocals and is layering his s---. thank god for revival.

    Yeah critics can say what they want about this as a cohesive body of work but musically this is his best engineered, produced and mixed albums since relapse

    Just woke up after first listen last night, feel more grounded, I like kami better maybe because it’s shorter, this album tho is I think is really good too tho, like it’s what revival should have been. (Excluding arose, Castle) those are just gems. I’d put this over MMLP2 and under Kami. Maybe It will age like fine wine I can’t tell it’s just where I stand for now. Overall I’m happy with what he gave us. Just to receive music at this level from a artist like marshal at this point in his life, after the overdose.

    Yoo @Big Dangerous yeah I liked some of guma's posts insulting u but u were kind of a d-ck at first lol. Saw u 2 making up later!

    I like it. I understand people's issues w it, and I got some of my own as well, I just finished my 4th listen gonna post my thoughts

    Premonition; dope as f---. He somehow always manages to bring the heat on intro songs
    Unaccommandating; kinda ok and some dope parts but I hate the fast rapping parts. Lyrics and beat nice though
    Y'all gon learn; really good!
    Those nights; guilty plessure I guess. Its a fun song, nothing more nothing less. s----s on River
    In too deep; sux
    Godzilla; juice kills it, em is fine first until he wants to be impressive again (why?). Good song overall
    Darkness; I like it a lot
    Leaving heaven; at first I also thought ughh but if u listen closer its not what u think it is. Solid song, s----s on the revival one
    Yahyah; f---ing waste of some incredible features. Love that these guys are on it, finding it hard to actually enjoy it
    Stepdad; a song for high school kids lyrically lol but his rapping is some of the best on the album and the beat is nice.
    Marsh & never love again; skippable for me yet not that bad
    Little engine; hated it at first but grew on me. Solid.
    Lock it up; incredible
    Farewell; sonically not bad but sick of these g.d. fictional relationship songs
    No regrets; incredible
    I will; incredible

    So yeah in the end about 50% I'll keep I guess but w 20 songs , having 10 songs to enjoy from an em album I see as a win. Of course it can change over time though. But again that doesn't mean that I don't get certain critizism, even if I like it.

    I like Leaving Heaven, especially with the topic of his dad, but the beat is a bit too loud in my perspective.

    Album is great after a few listens! It definitely feels like a grower too. It has its own vibe and style and feels cohesive. “In Too Deep” probably the first fake love song he’s done that I think really works. I’m still a big fan of Kamikaze, and I’d say this is on the same level as of now. Maybe not as many highs but less lows and feels a lot more like a full album than Kamikaze did.

    this is nowhere near revival. much better than revival. i cant say if its better then kamikaze for me now. Up to now i would put it straight behind kamikaze.

    Haven't finished listening but initial thoughts are better than mmlp2 and revival but not as cohesive as kamikaze.

    Before anyone says mmlp2 is dope, only 40% of that album is listenable to me.
