Tennessee’s play-action game & Kansas City’s mistakes on defense have kept the game close at half. Titans need to recognize this & adjust accordingly. You can’t run the ball with Derrick Henry at will in the 2nd half & expect to win.

This is going to be a h--- of a 2nd half. I catch myself rooting for both teams, when they’re on offense. Derrick Henry helped me win a fantasy league, so I’m pulling for them. But I think the 49ers could slow him down so maybe I should root for the chiefs.

Chiefs may start pulling away with the game this 2nd half. Titans defense needs to step it up and get the ball back to Henry. Henry scores the most during the 2nd half stat wise.

Chiefs made a dumbass move dropping Hunt too early. Just imagine if they had him too. If the chiefs upgrade their defense this off season and they end up being good; Chiefs will be the elite AFC team for years to come. Lamar Jackson has to work on being a pocket passer. He needs to lose that instinct scrambling first then maybe throwing or running. This isn’t college, that s--- won’t work in the playoffs. A playoff team can key in on that and they’ll lose every year. It’s funny how quick espn and fox and other major sport outlets got off Lamar’s d-ck, after he lost. They were acting like he’s the next big thing before that. Now they all decided to jump on Derrick Henry’s d-ck.

Okay titans, you have to score a td after chiefs just did. Henry has records broke for running in the 2nd half. Curious to see if he can break a long td run soon. They’re going to have to pass some eventually though with being down more than one td.

when you rely heavily on draining the clock and henry, then the titans are gonna choke like they did in the 2nd half. not surprised whatsoever

yup. That’s why teams with heavy run offensive philosophies are dying it out. It’s not the 90s anymore—the best teams have offenses too dynamic for that.

disappointing effort from the Packers early on for sure. I know SF has a great secondary & their isn’t much separation but you have to at least try. You have Aaron Rodgers & Davante Adams! All this underneath stuff isn’t going to cut it. GB has to score on this next drive or else this game could be over already...

As I’ve said before, it’s clear you never played football a day in your life. You don’t really understand the game. And you think running backs are useless in the nfl. Well there’s more rushing yards than passing yards this first half.

I’ll change what I said to a majority of the time a scramble first qb. Not always because he does throw some from the pocket. But his style got exposed by the all mighty titans defense lmao He needs to develop into a better pocket passer. He’ll have a bad knee injury or something next season if he tries running as much as he did this season. That’s college football s---. There’s only ever going to be one Michael Vick.

Lol. This was becoming true, until this year. Colin Cowherd actually showed stats that this year was a lot more run heavy with some teams using a few running backs compared to the past few years. The game goes so much smoother and using clock management right when you have a good running game going. For example, this 49ers game. The chiefs are the only team I can think of that could try passing the ball all game. And they still ran Williams to get some td’s. You have very little knowledge, when it comes to the nfl.

You do realize a vast majority of Jackson’s rushing yards came from *designed runs* not scrambles. Oh yeah..he also had over 3,000 yards passing on a team that ran the ball a lot more than your average NFL team...

Trent... teams have literally been running the ball less & less since the 70s lol. This has been an ongoing trend for decades lol.

I don’t think Lamar is a QB that will actually be able to string together a super bowl run. I just don’t think his style of play can get it done in the playoffs

I'm still figuring out how the 49ers got this far. Is simply the defense? I mean the QB is average, run game is pretty good. And I guess kittle...but I mean this isn't a team that wows on offense

The 49ers are averaging a *ridiculous* 11.4 yards per run. If you can average 11 yards per run every game, sure, run the ball 20+ times every game. That’s not sustainable though. The average in the NFL is 4 yards per run. Good rushing teams will average around 5 yards per run. It looks great when it works—and it does work some times but it’s just not sustainable. Look at what happened to Tennessee today.

Great defense & despite Garoppolo who is good (I think average is harsh) but not great or anything; they have incredible play-calling. They’ve gotten this far through coaching.
