Jan 22, 2020 100% agree especially the first and last part. And yeah like bc said most people literally trashing him are just (imo losers) baiting stans. And yes, some of them also ask for it, absolutely.
Jan 22, 2020 didn't read any of the posts from this thread but: his fans are terrible and hype up his mediocre projects released after tes he's been trash for 18 years his production is wack i'm not racist, but let's not forget the fact that he made it big in a genre dominated by black artists, so ofc he's gonna get hate.
Jan 22, 2020 the only thing that annoys me is when em does some corny punchlines on purpose and there are some stupid f---s that think thats not how it is and they single them out . like how stupid you can be to not get it its done on purpose sometimes , like its even easy to tell most of the times
Jan 22, 2020 I was just thinking how this new album is like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Its long, its full of references and layers, and it takes some time for it to sit well. Eminem is Tarantino of rap actually.
Jan 22, 2020 You ask such a question in this year of our Lord 2020? As if Em being hated isn't like... part of the whole thing? Wow,
Jan 22, 2020 1. His Stanbase (Loads of posts already in here showing why) 2. Hes one of the biggest artists in the world. Also a lot of his white fans that dont listen to any other hip hop music but declares him the GOAT like their opinion has value.
Jan 22, 2020 This is where the rubber band effect comes in—you yourself said you didn’t like the new album much. It’s one thing to like current Em and another to say he’s better than ever. Again an example with two other rappers that most people think are washed up: what would your reaction be if I said “Kanye is better than ever” or “Wayne is better than ever.” You’d probably point to MBDTF and Tha Carter II and scratch your head.
Jan 23, 2020 I actually find Kanye stans more annoying than Em stans now days. It's almost like a fair chunk gravitated to Kanye. But yeah, I loved Em's recent release. I barely give Recovery (4), MMLP2 (5), Revival (2) higher than a 5. This new project is a 8.5 for me. Don't really care what people say, it's music. Look at his ratings on metacritic, the user score was 9.1 after 2,000 votes, after Fantano posted that on twitter saying its ridiculous it is now 3000 reviews and 8.5 lol. He regularly is destroyed by pretentious people who put his music under a microscope, analyse everything (Yet ignore the same crap with their favorites). He is a victim of being too big, you like Eminem you have no music taste. Pretty much if you are an Em fan you are a loser lol (Going by albumoftheyear.org, ktt and some websites). These people go out of their way to trash Em at any moment lol. Pretty sad, if I don't f--- with the music I just don't listen to it, I don't make it a life goal to trash it at every opportunity
Jan 23, 2020 I'd agree Wayne is better than ever cause I only tuned in since Carter V and I love that album. Retroactively going back to his most praised ones didnt change Carter V as the most enjoyable album of his. But Eminem being a better rapper now does not necessarily mean he's making better albums. But he certainly got more technically impressive and I remember around the time before Relapse thinking "eminem never has any wordplay or double entendre", and its like he heard me.
Jan 23, 2020 I'm trying to edit that post above to remove "wayne is better now" cause thats actually wrong of me to say
