Feb 21, 2020 I'm not sure.. I didnt watch it. I got better things to do then watch an old white man spend an hour talking about has beens. Dude was awkward af the whole interview.
Feb 21, 2020 Nah same way when some like drag-on has a heavy stuttering problem, but when he raps there’s no stutter at all.
Feb 21, 2020 I had already listed a bunch earlier in this thread but some more would be: Do you feel like you exploited Juice Wrld at all? (I don’t personally think so but that conversation is out there and it would be nice to hear his opinion on it) Has his daughters age and current awareness of his music had any affect on his process?
Feb 21, 2020 I’m not saying him doing things like this aren’t cool and entertaining, I just wish he would do more outside his comfort zone as far as interviews. Along with doing stuff like this
Feb 21, 2020 Things we learned. Eminem is a hip hop nerd which we already knew. Awful interview. Good to hear his props for The Wire & Juice WRLD
Feb 21, 2020 I saw these questions, but to me that aren’t that hard if asked, and why would he want to talk about his daughter in an interview. I remember back in like I want to say 2010 someone asked him how old is Hailie now, and he said 14, and the interviewer said is she dating yet, and if so how are you going to handle that? All em said was I don’t want to answer any more questions about her.
Feb 21, 2020 That’s cool if he doesn’t want to talk about them, but my point is the interviewer would have still asked, if he denies to answer move on. We were never gonna get questions like that with Crooked. In an interview, it shouldn’t be the subject leading the conversation, it should be the interviewer. Plus, the question I posed had little to do with his daughter and her life, but more so just how she has affected his music. It’s a question about him not her. Asking if his daughter is dating is way out of bounds to ask lmao, and had nothing to do with him so why would he want to talk about that
Feb 21, 2020 Loved it. Em having genuine conversations about hip hop and giving props to the OGs of the game was a delight to watch. You could tell he was truly enjoying the discussion. However, I would say this though, it felt more like friends having a discussion about rap culture than an interview, which I don't mind tbh.
Feb 21, 2020 Want to listen to the tracks that didn’t make the album...because the samples didn’t get cleared...these leftovers Em tracks will be dope if they ever leak
Feb 21, 2020 Yeh was kinda weird how he answered it. It's like he doesn't want anyone to know he's happy...
Feb 21, 2020 He’s either happy but knows it doesn’t really fit with his persona...or he’s not happy at all Probably the first one
Feb 21, 2020 He definitely said something like "when you do a lot of verses with Kendrick" or something close to it. Maybe he means unreleased verses but he pretty much said hes done more than 1 with him.
Feb 21, 2020 I would ask if he would still wear all those throwback rapper t-shirts if he wasn’t white. Hailies thoughts on being in his music in the earlier parts of his career. Did she not like it and ask him to stop? Why he feels the need to be so overly private with his life to where he can’t even list a few foods he really enjoys when answering such a boring question. Will he ever return to traditional album rollouts? Why did he have so many more features on Music To Be Murdered By? Does he plan to get as vulnerable as he did on Walk On Water ever again? His thoughts on how much longer he will continue to drop albums.
Feb 21, 2020 Crooked should've asked when Em was talking about Redman and LL Cool J if he plans on doing songs with them some day (I know he did one with LL but I mean one we get to hear). Kinda felt like a missed opportunity there. Honestly tho Crookeds questions weren't bad. Solid interview. I know Em hates rap media but wish he did more interviews. Maybe he could do his own podcast like thing like that one day.
