When you discover a new artist, how do you go about listening to their discography?

depends on the artist and the size of their catalog. Usually try go through their albums and major singles chronologically but recently found myself listening to their latest release first, then if I like it going back to their debuts and working my way up. Most recently was clipping - started with the album they dropped last year then went back their their discography chronologically

Usually a combination of what's been said in this thread. Would try from their earliest releases to their latest, or just go by rym rating if it's a rather larger catalogue to go through.
