ok but you act as if no attempts are being made at all to keep up with NYC demand because the administration does not like them. it’s just not the case. the government is STILL attempting to catch up with certain cities, sure. they mishandled it originally but like I said, so did many others that were not the U.S. gov’t. NYC is hardest to keep up with REGARDLESS of who is president.

NYC is actually doing better statistically than most early models had projected. News that wouldn’t really make sense if it were as simple as “the administration is hoping for NYC’s failure !!”

and yes, i would put it past trump to hope for an entire cities (the economic capital of the U.S. ?) downfall because he does not like them. that is absolutely f---ing bananas and doesn’t even do HIM any good, lol.

I literally never said that. I said there are discrepancies in how medical equipment is being distributed. Officials from the Trump administration, who work in the White House, are suggesting that the president is catering to states he deems important to for re-election. That is what’s being reported & investigated.

As for the poor response, you can’t compare the U.S. response to China’s or even Italy’s. The U.S. had time to react to this virus as it was spreading rapidly across the globe. The President was getting warnings of a potential health crisis from intelligence agencies as early as January 3rd. The president sat on his hands; called the the virus a “hoax;” said it would “disappear” & numbers would be “near 0” by April etc. We had the luxury of time to prepare & the best medical professions/technology in the world. The federal government failed on all levels despite this.

    7EA9A27E-D09A-46ED-BD60-AF61E9F0A9F6.jpeg

This isn’t what I said nor is what’s being reported...the president catering to states he thinks are important to his re-election isn’t the same as “wanting nyc to fail!”

Who is saying trump is hoping for an entire cities downfall? Lol literally no one is saying that. Trump, throughout his life, has been someone who is motivated by personal gain. Whether it be in business or politics, he always cares about himself first. You saw it when he publicly asked Russia to hack Clinton’s email in 2016; you saw it when he asked the Ukrainian government to open an investigation into Joe Biden in exchange for military funding; you saw it when Govenor Cumo criticized him for his response to the pandemic & he suggested that New York is lying about the amount of medical equipment they need. He always needs something in return, whether it’s praise, money, acknowledgment, power etc. So do I put it past him to favor states that he believes are supportive of him/are important to his re-election over states that arent? No.

it is undoubtedly in trumps best interest that New York is as successful as possible. whether that be for selfish reasons or not. the faster/better we as a country have this under control in ANY city, the better it looks on the administration. trump might be a goof ball, but I think even he knows that. there is just realistically no real gain to not helping NYC as much as he can/the administration can.

There’s a lot of things Trump & his administration should have (or shouldn’t have) done in his best interest. That hasn’t stopped them in the past from doing pretty much whatever. Trump is not a normal president who follows regular political standards or norms. He turns any criticism launched at him back against his opponents. You see him doing that already with this pandemic, blaming governors, senators, state governments etc.

If that's true then why weren't the hospitals over flowing with people who contracted it, why did it stop spreading to other people and not go across the country like it is now??

No idea. It’s still just a hypothesis as of now. I suppose people could have thought it was just a bad strain of the flu & got over it on their own. Most people who get infected only experience mild symptoms so I suppose it’s possible.

i dunno wtf quarter of the year "Fall" is in because upside down kilometres per hour australbizare, but China tried to cover up the wu-flu when they first got wind of it, so probs spread earlier and they only just started testing people like a month ish ago? numbers and graphs will come out with all kinds of whack s---. was reading today less than 20% of the people who got it are smokers, and less than 1% of people dying from it are smokers (would have assumed all the breathing/pneumonia/lung complications + smoking would make it worse) Also, f--- China

yeah I get that but they're setting up makeshift hospitals here because it's spreading so quick and so many people need to go to the ER that it's already over crowded. As of today no one in NJ can go to a store unless they have something covering their face. I'm bout to get a horse and start robbing people. If it spread earlier why wasn't there this same issue? f--- China is right. Just texted them that the US ain't paying back s--- we owe them

Curious what has a higher mortality rate? Flu, wu-flu, or Isis terror attacks?
I'm not sure, but I think cause there's 2 strains of covid or some s--- maybe ‍♂️ like all the people who "had" it and are giving testimonies are pretty much all vaguely similar to "yeah my throat hurt for a day, had a cough and felt dizzy/flu like for 3 days then came good... Turns out I tested positive for having corona"
Then obviously, you get people who have it then are on ventilators and s--- in hospital cause they can't breathe.

The entire planet earth should sue China and make them pay reperations for this the same way Germany had to after ww2
