Jul 10, 2020 Nimic Revenue Spoiler Here is a very dope female MC from Minnesota. She might not reinvent the wheel (but let's be real, most of the upcoming male artists don't do that either), but I still fw her music heavy. She has a great beat selection (which is highly subjective of course), a pretty dope voice and good lyrics. Really recommend checking out her EP "Lifeline Reloaded" . I originally listened to her song "Greenroom" for the Sosa feature, but ended up liking her part more (Keef still the goat). It took me a long time to actually listen to the EP it was featured on, but when I did I was impressed. Some of y'all might dig her vibe.

Jul 11, 2020 @awhellno ran through this thread and realized I missed a few artists you dropped. Most of the earlier recommendations didn’t really catch me but the last few have been great. But Villain Park....just wow. As you put it, Breathe of fresh air. I’ve been in a discovery mode lately so glad I rediscovered this thread. Hope you keep adding to it. You got my attention
Jul 11, 2020 Preciate it man! That was my goal with this thread, and I will update it as frequently as possible

Jul 26, 2020 AG Club Spoiler Halfway Off The Porch Album: AG Club is a music collective located in Brentwood, California and they have great potential. If you're interested in where they originated from and who their influences are, I'd suggest reading this write-up: https://lmcexperience.com/features/2020/03/13/local-hip-hop-garage-group-grabs-attention/. I like their music and wouldn't even call them a rap or hip hop group. But since hip hop has such a broad spectrum nowadays I'd figured there is no problem posting them in this thread. I also linked their latest album. It's really diverse so you might need a few listens.
Sep 14, 2020 KennyHoopla Spoiler You're missing the feeling that the late 90ies-early 2000ish grunge rock gave you? You know this "I might have f----- up but at least I tried and it will make me a better person but it still kinda hurts"-type feeling that you got when you listened to Nirvana while cruising home on your bike after asking out your crush didn't go as planned? Well KennyHoopla encapsulates exactly this feeling and it's the rawest s--- i've heard in a long time. Based in Wisconsin, KennyHoopla (whose resemblance to Tyler The Creator is uncanny) makes music that gives you the nostalgia that you "I miss the good old times"- headass needs. As he stated himself, this is exactly what he tries to convey with his excellent indie rock tunes. Back in May he released his EP how will i rest in peace if I'm buried by a highway?// and it's unstructuredness is what makes it great. A sure-footed purposeful indie rock release that you should definitely check out ASAP.
Sep 14, 2020 2nd song gave me major early Bloc Party vibes, d--- all of these are bops actually. Amazing write up too my brudda, perfect descriptions and it made me immediately head to YT for more!
Sep 14, 2020 Thanks my g, I'm glad you like it! Bloc Party is the first thing that came to my mind too when I discovered him. Judging by the comments he gets that a lot lmao
Sep 14, 2020 It's funny you plugged a Paul Epworth song in the other thread, since we're on that topic of Bloc Party he did a remix for them back when he was under his old moniker of Phones. Shoutout Midnight Club 3 for this gem lmao
Sep 14, 2020 M83 did a remix on the same album. Alright that has to be a sign. Time to listen to some Bloc Party joints
Sep 20, 2020 Gab3 Spoiler It's not fair that Gab3 is known for ruining that posthumous Lil Peep album because first, that was a mess anyways and secondly Gab3 makes some great music. Before he rapped under the name Gab3 he was (or still is) part of the UZi collective (Gab3 and producer Mik3) which did music videos for many famous artists as well some fashion brands, for example Kanye's Famous video amongst other things. Under the name UZi he released a lot of music and some dope visuals befor changing his name (probably because Lil Uzi Vert was getting bigger at that time, many consider him as "the original Uzi"). Most of these songs you can find on soundcloud, I've linked some of my favs. After a hiatus he started to make music again in 2019, most notably No Sleep with Skepta which was one of my most played Spotify songs last year. He combined rock samples with hard 808s and the formula worked even though it was nothing ground breaking. Now he switched rock with rave which you can hear on his latest track Tonight and what can I say I f---ing love it. Y'all might too.
