Jun 26, 2020 But many aren't, Kendrick shamed a white girl when she did that when he brought her on stage. I just get frustrated when I see that the world is increasingly becoming more and more sterile in a lot of ways.
Jun 27, 2020 White people need to refrain from saying the n word at all times. It’s really not a word to be repeating unless you are black. The only context that matters is the history of that word in this country, and black people took a word used against them and owned it. Not anybody else’s call. That being said, there probably shouldn’t be anything held towards Em for rapping along to it 20 years ago. It shouldn’t be an unpardonable sin, but out of respect, its just best to refrain from saying it. I learned this over the years, and it really is not difficult to not say the n word. That’s all most black people ask.
Jun 27, 2020 Kendrick himself just stopped her and said she should've bleeped one word, but some crazy fans from the crowd were instantly yelling insults at her and booing, I just don't get why he didn't told her not to do it before even letting her rap with him on stage, I mean it's kinda expected when it's a song that has bunch of n-words, so it's almost like he wanted her to do it for him to have a reason to make little scene out of it lol
Jun 27, 2020 But saying "n-word" is r-----ed. If you say n-word you're still making me spell it out in my mind. Like I said, n-word is like "one who shall not be named" in harry potter. Maybe black people shouldn't call themselves by a racial slur. It cant be enpowerment between black people and deragatory if white man says it. Like if gay people can call themselves fa----s, mentallly handicapped r-----s, fat people fat, but if coming from other group its suddenly a bad word. I cannot agree with that.
Jul 11, 2020 Never leave us And agree w @kodo... could what’s your intent be em’s first semi good song?? And he is talking about ronnie in that one verse or did I mishear
Jul 11, 2020 yeah me 2, Kendrick was a total jerk for doing that inviting a white girl that pay money to see him perform, knowing he used the n word like 25 times in that song. If you don't want people to sing that word just don't put it in your song.
Jul 11, 2020 I would never use the N word in conversation whether the intention was positive or negative. However, I do say it when rapping along to songs. They aren't my words.
Jul 11, 2020 DJ Buttafingiz said to me he's gonna leak Dear Ronnie after he does some DJ scratches to make the song better. He wants $10,000 for it.
