Orlando is primed for this s--- :wow5:

Either we make some noise with our home state advantage, or we will use this opportunity to sell prospective free agents on the benefits of joining our team.

We can't pass up this chance

Could go any which way! Philly has a retardedly easy schedule so if they won out I wouldn’t be surprised. I think the Raptors are fake. They are playing f--- you basketball with a chip on their shoulder, can’t hold up. I think this is the real Tatum and he’ll pick up where he left off.

That a thing in Htown? Always thought his run and gun/3 ball offense fit that team well. There were at least 2 Rockets teams over the last 5 or so years with high powered offenses that should have taken the Warriors out; at least in my opinion. I just feel like he compliments Harden’s game so well. Only so much P&R you can implement with small ball I guess.

I actually really like Houston’s chances.

He's not hated here like Bill O'Brien is but people aren't as excited about him as coach as they used to be. I know there are far worse coaches out there, and I actually like the guy for the most part. It's just that some Houston fans feel that we'll never make the finals under him. Also, the city of Houston is hungry for another championship. Our last meaningful one was 25 years ago and just when we think we finally have another one to be proud of, it gets forever tarnished. Picture the complete opposite of your experience as a Boston sports fan.
I agree, especially when CP3 got hurt. :wow2:
I have some hope, but Harden tends to play worse in the postseason. If we get far it'll be because of Westbrook.

I think your Celtics have a pretty good shot.

Funny, I still think LAL wins it all, but my 2 dark horse picks to win it all are my Cs and HOU. That would be a fun series to see in the Finals as well.

Yeah LAL seem the be the favorite. I’d love to see a Celtics/Rockets finals. Seems like a 7 game series on paper.

Strong feeling Celtics are gonna overperform during the bubble here and make the finals. Doubt they win but I think they will make it

Something is just telling me they’re gonna make a run. Too many options and bodies to throw at elite wings. Kemba scares me and Hayward could be gone for an extended period cause he just can’t stop pumping his wife. Still, I just have an abundance of faith in the Jays

Heat have a case for making a run, really depends on Bam. but I think Jimmy will be exposed in the playoffs. He's actually declined a bit this year - he's had incredible foul luck that has boosted his PPG but generally he has resorted to running into the paint and flopping for a superstar call, compared to last year when he was a genuine offensive cornerstone. I really like how the teams built and could see Jimmy playing differently after the extended break though, who knows.

Also really like Houston's odds for wiping out the Lakers or Clips. all it takes is some shooting luck during a series and that small ball will do wonders (mostly against the Lakers)...

Dallas could be a real problem in the playoffs too - we haven't seen Luka off ball much but he definitely has the chops to do that when the defensive pressure forces the balls into KPs hands during the playoffs. I think his Euroleague experience also means he doesn't need a feel for the playoffs to excel there, he already has the high stakes chops.

Really I think I'd take the field over Bucks/Clippers/Lakers. I think all three teams were built to dominate the regular season but have glaring holes when it comes to playoff basketball. There are so many great teams right below the big three contenders that could heat up and knock them out. Definitely the most parity in the league right now than there has been since like 2010-2014 when there were genuinely five or six teams that could have won titles.

Got a good feeling about Philly for some reason.

Honestly think the Rockets will struggle, but stranger things have happened and this season is anyone's for the taking.

Phillys gonna look a whole lot better now that they are finally playing Simmons at the four and Shake Milton at the 1. Hopefully they stick to it even if it’s shaky at first
