Jay has more classics than ye (Reasonable Doubt, Vol 1, Vol 2, Vol 3, Dynasty, Blueprint, Black Album, American Gangster, WTT, 4:44) I count 10.

Ye has (College Dropout, Late Registration, Graduation, 808s, MBDTF, WTT, Yeezus, TLOP) I count 8.

    Jay > Ye

Yep. He'll join the ranks of Em and Wayne in transcending four decades.

    Definitely Jay...

I don't love TLOP as much as everyone else seems to on here. It's a decent album with a few great songs but also sounds very unfinished and half assed. I don't understand how that's somehow a positive thing for some people, but putting out an unfinished product isn't something I'm going to praise. And after TLOP, Kanye just fell off pretty much as badly as Eminem.

Meanwhile, Jay has like 3 average albums out of 13 (BP3, MCHG and Kingdom Come). The rest range from classic to good. He's also 50 years old and just put out an album with Jay Electronica and was rapping like he's 26 again.

Thank you. Also I honestly dont get why people call tlop a classic lmao. Half assed s--- that could have been great.

5-10 years ago I probably would've said Kanye. But I've never seen such career suicide as I've witnessed from him in that rough time period. Kanye is barely top 30 for me any more.

I don't know how he went from the bear albums to 808s to MBDTF to where we are now. It's impressive in all the wrong ways.

His ghost writers/producers probably ghosted him after the MAGA shenanigans.

But, on a serious note, Kanye still has a great discography. He's just been on a downhill slide in recent years. Outkast, lowkey, stopped making music to avoid that same problem and I believe Andre himself confirmed that recently.

If Kanye keeps announcing albums and not releasing them, he would probably still be leant towards more good albums than bad. But by the time he's done, it's going to be a terrible discography where the terrible will out power the good.
