Sep 4, 2020 Curious to hear from the Em stans in here - excluding Em, Royce, Grizzley and Sean - were there any other rappers on here that piqued your interest? Anyone you'd like to hear more of?
Sep 4, 2020 I was into Boldy and Tee already, but 42 got my attention tbh. I don't think I've heard anything from him before (Ive probably heard but forgot smh) I'm checking other guys aswell.
Sep 4, 2020 Tee Griz is SchoolBoy Q’s 10 year old daughters favorite rapper. I think that explains everything I need to know about about him.
Sep 4, 2020 I don’t know if I’ve just outgrown my phase of loving technical rap, or whatever, but Em’s verse just doesn’t do it for me. His voice is also just irritating me lately, it just sounds weird idk how to explain it. I’d much rather listen to the screaming on Recovery, but I know that’s probably an unpopular opinion. If I really think about it, I just don’t really f--- with rapping just to rap, with no real direction, anymore. So a song called Friday night cypher was never really gonna do it for me. It just seems like most of his songs lately are rapping for rappings sake, rapping about being disrespected, or made up love songs. there’s nothing strikingly bad about the verse either, so I’m not gonna trash it. It’s just meh
Sep 4, 2020 Pretty sure he's made an appearance on every previous Sean project, right? Edit: Nvm, I guess he's been spotty, my bad.
