Sep 20, 2020 I remember 50 Cent was talking about doing the same thing lol referring to POTD album he made when he was signed to Columbia
Sep 20, 2020 I dont get it. I mean for an artist, making money I get it. But all this bs about albums having bad songs. We're in the digital era for f--- sakes just replace songs u hate w songs u like (leaked ones) and u got the encore u want!
Sep 20, 2020 Just listened to spend some time after a min and it still goes hard. Beat and hook fire. Stat quo renegaded it too
Sep 20, 2020 Unique era indeed It's ironic that I loved this song so much seeing as how I have resented his love songs since MMLP2. Kind of embarrassed to admit it but I didn't know Never Love Again was about drugs until a few weeks ago because I turned that s--- off 20 seconds into it on my initial listen. Good song that I originally missed out on though.
Sep 20, 2020 wow dont think ive heard this song before, interesting! iirc, spend some time was originally an 8 mile era session track tho. and agreed w @Koolo, you've absolutely been this tracks champion, kept its legacy alive hah
Sep 20, 2020 By wayne? Fire Do you mean love me more? Eh not a fan of how shook and edgy he sounds tbh. I guess to me his verse on spend some time sounds mature (which is crazy cause I’ve never heard him like that ever. Haven’t listened to anything post southpaw soundtrack tho) and calm. Singing is pretty good too on the hook. edit: my b I’ve never heard that song before
Sep 20, 2020 Exactly. He isn't goofy or threatening to murder/commit suicide over a relationship. Everything Eminem does on Spend Some Time actually really captures what relationships and infidelity feels like imo. Also, 50's verse encapsulates my view of relationships from the age of 22 onwards
Sep 20, 2020 lost interest mid way but its ight i guess. 8 mile road from this soundtrack is really good tho
Sep 26, 2020 Although Heat was your number 1 song, and another member, I believe BIGFOOT, liked it as well....you were the only one who voted for it. To make the list you had to have at least two different people vote for the track.
Sep 26, 2020 So I looked at all the extra lists, and it honestly didn't seem like people were trying to compromise the original tallied up list and all late entries were giving their honest 15. So I will shortly add in a new Updated Section 80's Top or Favorite Eminem List. If you think adding in all the extra lists is unfair, I completely understand and respect that and you can scroll back and see that list when I closed the votes. But I've decided to add in all the extra entries and see how it shakes things up a bit. I hate to not include anyone's votes. So the updated list will be posted shortly.
