Sep 20, 2020 Prom Night (remake) Yeah so this is one of those movies... I didn't really like it, didn't hate it. I will never watch this again ever, but I didn't feel like wasting 90 minutes of my life. Its kinda dull, but has some enjoyable moments. Characters are kinda meh, so is the story. But for an evening or afternoon off its fine. If you don't see it u dont miss a thing though. 5/10
Sep 20, 2020 Not a big horror fan but a golden oldie which is sure to creep anyone out... Have you seen The Wicker Man? Original 1973 version I mean. Nothing with Nicholas Cage in could ever be scary.
Sep 20, 2020 Might be silly in this thread, but I’ve never seen any of the Conjuring movies. Heard the first was great, but I know horror sequels can be very hit or miss so I’m not sure about the rest. A horror cinematic universe is a neat idea to me (if that’s what you’d call it). Worth watching?
Sep 20, 2020 Terrified (2020) on Shudder is a Spanish-horror film. I actually very much enjoyed it. Had a good story and good scares! Ending was very meh though. Worth a watch however.
Sep 21, 2020 I don't believe I have seen Sinister, but it's on my list of films to watch I still haven't seen Insidious 4 :/ I just keep putting it off Christine is a classic and I've seen that many times in my life, one of my favorites for sure
Sep 22, 2020 I thought it was incredibly unnerving and scary. I dont think it was as pretentious as other films this era such as US and Lighthouse but if I can see why you think that with all the overly necessary symbolism and foreshadowing. Still the most beautiful horror film ive ever seen besides Kwaidan
Sep 22, 2020 first two are good, but it falls into that category insidious now has that paranormal activity started where they try to expand the universe like they're f---ing marvel, except instead of making decent films its just f---ing money grabbing garbage.
Sep 22, 2020 AH Sinister is great and the soundtrack is amazing but f--- sinister 2 is one of the worst horror films last decade
Sep 22, 2020 @Michael Myers you heard about the insidious/sinister crossover film? Hope it gets pushed through tbh would love to see Hawke make a comeback to the series too
Sep 22, 2020 Definitely worth checking out, Sinister! Insidious 4 isn't that good but for the story its cool to see, since its sort of a prequel to part 1. Christine yeah really liked it. John Carpenter a legend for that soundtrack again.
Sep 22, 2020 What others u mean, spin offs? I kinda like that they take elements from the movies and give them their own. Anabelle was decent, so was annabelle comes home. Still have to see creation. Not close to the Conjuring 1 and 2 tho The nun was awful though.. and haven't seen the curse of llorona but I do own the dvd.
Sep 22, 2020 Yeah you know, I said this a while back; I appreciate it, and I think its a beautiful movie the way its made. The landscapes, the concept, the whole metaphore.. But I dont like it. Characters are boring and very very unlikable, and imo they spend more time on making everything perfect than making it a good watch. The scenes that were 'unsettling' to people -which I get- were boring and too long for me. I wanted to fast forward because it was awkward and stupid. The scene on the mountain was great though! But where the dude f----- and the scene at the end where the girl was screaming...ugh nah not for me.
