Sep 20, 2020 Kingdom Come is rated as it should be imo. It’s a bottom tier Jay album with a few standouts. I’d take it over MCHG every time tho.
Sep 20, 2020 Miley Cyrus twerking somewhere in America? Nah man I think I’ll pass. Only thing I remember from this dumpster fire of an album.
Sep 20, 2020 It's definitely underrated. It has some of the best produced tracks I've ever heard in hip-hop, but Jay sounds lazy and uninspired most of the time. I can still put it on and vibe to it though. If Jay had the same hunger as he had on Reasonable Doubt or the Vol albums and MCHG production, it could've been a great album.
Sep 20, 2020 It's conceptually a mess and Jay's still a bum for that Samsung s--- (although good for his wallets). Unlike in other Hov albums where his focused rapping often redeems the missteps, felt like this was some of his most bland performances since BP3, although it still had some nice moments on that A-side. Sure wish there was a full version of Beach Is Better, Mike Will a fool for that one.
Sep 21, 2020 Need to give this album morespins again. When s--- came out, i remember listening to it a lot
Sep 21, 2020 Using the word "admit" there makes it sound like you do agree just not ready to publicly say it.
Sep 21, 2020 Haven't listened to this album in ages apart from holy grail which pops up every now and then. I remember enjoying it but not being blown away. 4:44 is the jay-z I want to hear. I don't need him on futuristic sounding beats, give me laid back jay-z.
