I had 3 verses, but cut it down lol. Bc I made the first verse 32 bars as it was lol. I might go back and add it back in (although idk if I kept those stems in a play list folder) but I havent bought the beat yet. He has a buy 2 get 1 free deal so ima see if I can write to 2 more songs before I buy that. I'm pretty pleased with the track tho. Pretty happy with the mix and master.

This was nice.

First time I’ve come into the creative section on here & I’m the opposite of the song title.

Heavy new age Eminem influence & a couple of bars that are questionable but critiques aside there’s a lot of effort put into the production and writing & it makes it sound less amateurish than these usually do. I’m genuinely shocked at the quality.

When I hear people rapping in creative sections I tend to cringe but I didn’t here - so props, that’s a big achievement for non-professional work.

Keep it up!

I really appreciate that man! as far as quality im REALLY glad you said that. ive only been mixing and mastering my own stuff for about a year and 2 weeks now lol. But i started rapping when i was 9 (im 28 now), i didnt record until i was in HS though so 2007ish, then i stopped around 2015 bc the quality was s--- but i never stopped writing. i started recording again last september and started teaching myself how to engineer, Thats been a big focus for me is that, and then working the kinks out on writing in song format and to beats again. I really appreciate you listening man!

and yeah Em, Royce, and Jay are my biggest influences when it comes to writing. ESP newer royce in terms of his arrangment. But i was in a big Schoolboy Q/ Asap rocky kick past 2 weeks so i decided to try out one of their beats but still rap how i normally do

Yeah I could tell you’ve been at it for awhile with the writing, cadence & flow pockets you were hitting.

I’ll keep an eye out for new stuff.
