Sep 27, 2020 Let's face it, there was about 50 different versions of Detox over the decades. I'm sure at one point this was true but it was also many other things.
Sep 27, 2020 Yes this was true, Dre once said he wanted a no-skip album with some interludes and skits. But he's a perfectionist, so this was actually a very stupid idea if you ask me. (Btw, I recently realized: He spent half of his career on that album. f--- that s---.)
Sep 27, 2020 12 songs? What would that have been? 12 Steps To Recovery Topless It Could’ve Been You Flashy I Get It In’s Original Intent Imagine Not My Style U Better Back Back Back Again At least 1 song w/ drugged up Eminem At Least 1 song w/ Stat, Bishop, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Eve, Marsha and/or Raekwon Maybe 1 NWA song? meh
Sep 28, 2020 I can't imagine all the leaked songs were destined to be on the same project. But yeah, thinking of the time frame we may have dodged a bullet. We would've got a s-----y Em feature. Snoop had seen a dip (although he always pulls through for Dre). Best thing would be been an NWA song. On a side note, I'm still f---ing pissed 10 odd years later we never got that NWA reunion album. They were deep in it. Chin Check Hello Think I'm missing one more? They both had a similar feel to them and if that was a sample of hour the album was due to continue it would be a certified classic today.
Sep 28, 2020 i still continue to find songs from dre i havent heard yet on youtube this mans got too many tracks haha

Sep 28, 2020 Yep. There's no singular Detox. I assume the closest he got to having a complete version was the 2010 era one with I Need a Doctor, Kush, and that joint with Jay-Z but he'd been working on it for 10 years at that point so I'm sure it evolved and changed as the years went by.
