Just so we are clear: Schumer is attempting to stop an unpopular SCOTUS nominee who would actively hurt huge portions of the population. But that’s not the point here - Republicans, and I assume you, justify her nomination , which is illegitimate just as Gorsuch’s was because politics is hardball and partisan ends justify the means. It’s indefensible imho but ok. So why can’t Schumer do what he wants? This Trumpian posturing , where things are unfair bc it doesn’t directly help him/his team, is emotional and womanly lol

I live in a IRL Trump bubble... so, it is scary.

But I feel like Biden will get 5 million more votes than him... hoping that's enough for an electoral win... don't know what happens after that... Trump might start telling Qanon to k--- anybody that think is a Democrat or something.


To be a Republican is kinda like being lowkey schizophrenic anymore... you have to deny reality.

I don't come to this thread very often because I'm not clued up on US politics. I'll have a quick skim read to see if anytjingninter sting is happening but I had to jump in here.

Wearing a mask is not about protecting a mask wearer. I don't think anyone is under any illusion that it protects them. But some people are carriers, they will have the virus with no symptoms whatsoever and will literally never know they have it. By them wearing a mask they will reduce the number of people they pass it on to because they won't be breathing into as many people's faces.
By forcing everyone to wear a mask it just simply reduces the amount the virus can be transferred. I'm all for that for now.

Did you know that r/The_Donald started off as a satire subreddit? Mocking the idea of a Trump presidency with over the top Colbert-esq sarcasm, then more and more autistists (who can't detect sarcasm or satire) joined them until the page went from mocking the asinine idea of Trump being President to an all encompassing life dedicated mission to make Trump President.. like when you praise JMG to get morons to go along with you for the lulz.


I can't be the only one to equate lonely Q qanons to the stans that believe JMG has a relationship with eminem and has a catalogue of unreleased music he's about to share and inside information... and just because some of his predictions didn't come true doesn't mean he is lying...



I think JMG understands more about what is going on in todays politics and Trumpism... then the majority of Poli Sci majors working for news outlets In the Beltway.

You cant compare Peru to Italy, the conditions are completely different in both countries.
Although Peru is one of the rising economies in Latin America, poverty is still by far higher than in Italy. Italy, like all western European countries, has universal health care, meaning people will have access to doctors and testing more often.

Also the political situation is totally different.
Although Salvini is making a mess in italys politics, the administration is still working and props to them how they managed to turn the table around. Italy is still trading a fair amount of goods by waterways and is a hub for refugees arriving from the east, meaning the fluctuation of people is high there,they also had some superspreader events, thus these could be a reasons why they were hit harder (we'll still need more data though).
Regarding Peru:
Peru was about to renew their parliament in january 2020 the executive got into a legal dispute though thats why their administration is a mess right now, they cant coordinate measures like Italy or the US. Also you have a lot of people still living of agricultural or manual industrial labour there, meaning they cant avoid contact, also indigenous people living autonomously who rarely go to a doctor, since, part of the population, is still having a hard time to afford medical care.

Like mentioned above, masks are about protecting others, even if you feel fine, not about protecting yourself. And if thats p---- than you somehow got the logic twisted
