Oct 24, 2020 He does need to release more music that isn’t a album though. Only seems to put out material when it’s time for a album or getting paid to do a soundtrack. Never does experimental EPs, collab projects, freestyles or try something different out of his comfort zone these days. Feel like if he did put out more material besides his albums, he would have more confidence and better grasp of the direction of his next album.
Oct 24, 2020 I think that's because hes still just a tried and true album artist. Even if he "misses his mark" as far as making a complete thought or cohesive theme to his albums in some peoples eyes, hes an album guy. I think he needs an album to get everything out, he seems like just doing a song here or there doesnt make sense to him. I think he does his expiermenting in the studio, I dont think he wants ppl to see him in the process of figuring stuff out. But I get what you're saying though
