Oct 29, 2020 So who here has either console pre-ordered? I'll def end up getting PS5 eventually but at the moment there is so much uncertainty with my job that I just can't justify lumps of cash right now. I think at this rate I'll buy one when my PS4 breaks (OG PS4 so prob hasn't got long left). Right now I'm focused on saving as much money as possible.

Nov 2, 2020 Series X is overall the most powerful 9th gen console. Series S has the most competitive price of a 9th gen console. gamepass is only available on Xbox consoles and acquiring Bethesda means a potential huge name exclusives on Xbox as well. Ps5 is my preferred console for next gen but that doesn't mean that those opting to buy a Series S or X aren't getting an insane value as well.
Nov 2, 2020 I always asked my selfe how does this work. There is not one single console I have that ever broke. My N64 Still working without problems, my ps1 still working without problems and same goes for my other ones
Nov 2, 2020 power means nothing to me when the game library is f---ing garbage. also the Bethesda thing would have been huge 10 years ago but after the 2010’s I have no desire to play their games.
Nov 2, 2020 Does anyone know if Microsoft made an announcement that all Bethesda games are Xbox exclusive now? Seems strange to me that they wouldn’t release the next official Skyrim or fallout or doom on all platforms. Feels like they’d be throwing away money. I can see side projects and spin offs and s--- being Xbox exclusive and the main games being timed exclusives, but I’d be surprised if the main games weren’t on ps5. But either way, I agree with you, it’s not like they’ve been releasing must play games this gen. I can live without Bethesda games if I had no choice.
Nov 2, 2020 Todd Howard (Bethesda head) said Bethesda games would "still be for everyone, regardless of what system you play on", while Phil Spencer (Xbox head) said Bethesda games would come to other platforms on a "case by case basis" So conflicting messages
