In only the past month little mix's album leaked two days before official release, just as an example. Same happened with ed Sheeran's album which leaked two days before the official release date

Dec 17, 2020 Those albums had various physical releases on release day such as CD, vinyl and cassette therefore those albums were not only in people's hands, they were in fans hands days before the release day. What I'm saying is they have managed to keep singles secretive going all the way back to 2009 when CDs were also pressed in advance. These days CDs can be pressed within days so if there is an album out tonight, it's not leaking prior. There's no need for any CD pressing plant or vinyl pressing plant to make anything or even know about an album. They hold all the cards.
