Dec 18, 2020 I really loved this double album, but I feel weird by saying that he only did better 2 times. I think it's because it's probably not the case: MMLP, TES, SSLP, Relapse, even Encore had multiple classics songs... In my mind, it's fourth.
Dec 18, 2020 I could never ever put Encore above anything. And Relapse is good, but this is far far far superior to me. This is more diverse. This album has it all for me.
Dec 18, 2020 Where does he go from here? I have this gut feeling we ain’t getting another full studio album for at least 3+ years. I mean he is already recycling tracks like crazy these days...so idk what else he is going to rap about. I don’t think I can handle another love song about his relationship with the rap game. It’s getting tiresome.
Dec 18, 2020 People said this s--- when framed came out. Even when he was dissing Trump and his daughter lmao
Dec 18, 2020 Tone Def lmao this is fun as f---. This hook is so f---ing catching lmao. Really funny lines especially talking about Paul. Love that the beat gets more intense at times and the opera singing. Yeah this is a hit for me
Dec 18, 2020 I got alfred theme in my top 5 - it's creative and sounds dope as f--- to me. Premonition is bad a--- but it's nothing new really
Dec 18, 2020 Encore is the first album of rap I heard. I Remember as a little kid watching the TV in the stairs (it was bedtime) while my father was playing the 2005 NYC concert DVD. I had the chills as soon as Evil Deeds start playing. But to be objective, I can't see that double album on top of Relapse or SSLP.
Dec 18, 2020 Book of rhymes g.d. love that he sounds so confident here. Like he's rapping pretty loud but not in an annoying screamy way. He flows so smoothly here, great. Singing part followed by layered rapping >>>>>>>> Hook, great. Beat is fantastic. Omg that beat switch...... this is beautiful. Ending he shows of a little but not in a bad way, layered rapping really reminds me of what started this good em era: chloraseptic remix. Dope song
