Dec 20, 2020 Unfortunately though... in Higher, when he says "Where am I supposed to go from here? Really I have no idea". I think it's true. Where could he go now? What could he rap about now? He done did it all. He can't keep talking about critics, or his mother feeding him drugs, or killing the b---- he loves, for another album. But he can't rap to just rap either because then everybody's gonna start saying "oh! he's got no content, he just rhymes a bunch of words". So the next one... it will be tough for him man. That's why I don't think we're getting any solo projects anytime soon.
Dec 20, 2020 Concept album or maybe a side project EP where he works with just 1 producer. It seems the industry is moving in that direction anyway.
Dec 20, 2020 Yeah but in that project with just 1 producer, he'd still need to rap about something. It's not like just one producer is a magical solution. What to rap about next? Where to go next? That's the question. Not who he's going to work with.
Dec 20, 2020 No hate as I love the album. But objectively this isn’t better than SSLP lol. (97 B&C, GC, and RB are better than anything on except darkness on MTBMB side B or A), still a great album though I have it 4th in my ranking. I think it’s unfair though to call SSLP dated when comparing it to MTBMB. One has been out for 21 years the other 3 days. In 21 years MTBMB might feel even more out dated than SSLP from 42 years ago.
Dec 20, 2020 This is my favorite part of side B: Got a b----, yeah, she look so good But on the real, she in denial Diamond water, yeah, it look like a river Look like I'm standing in the Nile If you really didn't get the last line Then your level on the brain of a child
Dec 20, 2020 Haha well that a weird first question to get. What do you gain from what im thinking, Like you shouldnt give a f*ck about what someone thinks off you?!
Dec 20, 2020 THANK YOU I could not remember the song but I knew it was a future song off the top of my head
Dec 20, 2020 They don't get it - it's called having a sense of humor vs dragging everyone down with heavy drama and judgement -which is the trendy thing right now. Yes people have the right to think how they think - usually what they have to say is already a shared opinion anyways - so they just come off as overly sensitive and not much fun to be around. Which ironically is the complaint you have when it comes to his punchlines - yet here you are on this forum talking about it. If it's that bad for you then don't listen simple as that. If I thought the dude beats his girls or some of this other s--- I wouldn't support him. It's rap music my guy get over it. Also I now have Zues in my top 10 em.songs all time
Dec 20, 2020 Literally he could do anything. He could make a rock rap album with Rubin and just rap about the 90’s.
Dec 20, 2020 It’s a close second man but B Side is just too high a level and he has plenty of the love songs on this which I really enjoy.
