Dec 23, 2020 This guys a clown just tweets s--- provoking people to hammer him with questions and acts like he’s important
Dec 23, 2020 I get you I mean there's a few songs on there I really like. I'm so f----- up that one of my favorite jams on there is rain man - but there's too many skips man.
Dec 23, 2020 I follow this forums for years and I know ppl tend to exaggerate because of the joy they have with the new music but you guys will change your mind quickly I just be realistic and yeah its also a taste thing and a nostalic thing. I remind a lot of memories with Encore and its best songs are classics in my book I think my list goes like this now. TES MMLP SSLP/ Encore MMLP2 (it aged horribly though) MTBMB A and B Revival (has some gems on there) Relapse Kamikaze Recovery its like I said MTBMB has good chances to maybe take MMLP2's spot.
Dec 23, 2020 I don't know about the rest. Can't speak for everybody. But my list isn't changing anytime soon, I'll tell you that. The way I see it, when I'm making my list, I think of it this way: Let's say you have a very long car trip ahead of you, and you're selecting which CDs are going to keep you company while driving. I'd make sure the ones I consider the best and most enjoyable are at the top, so I won't regret it in case I get to my destination point before some other albums are played. And I certainly would want to TES, MMLP and MTBMB B and A to be played before SSLP, KAMIKAZE, RECOVERY or RELAPSE. If ENCORE, MMLP2, REVIVAL or INFINITE didn't get to play before I get there, I wouldn't be mad at all.
Dec 23, 2020 My brother told me that some folk on the gram have been commenting that em would get smoked by some UK rappers, like f---ing chipmunk
Dec 23, 2020 I really think its a taste thing. But at least most of us agree on his 3 classics TES MMLP and SSLP.
Dec 23, 2020 Of course it's a taste thing. Music is a subjective and very personal thing. That's why when you call people "ridiculous" or you say we be "lying to ourselves" for having a different taste, it makes you look like a jerk.
Dec 23, 2020 Another interesting list. Lol Also, has anyone ever seen a list without TSSLP, MMLP or TES in the top spots? I’m sure a “Recovery” fan who got introduced to Em on that album probably has a crazy 1-3. Lol
Dec 23, 2020 I said that cause most of the ppl are too fast in saying that. Well at least saying both albums can rank at 4 isn't too far fetched Cause its like I said a cheatcode now with all of those songs.
Dec 23, 2020 Em's lyrics became so complex, especially when it comes to his wordplay, punchlines, metaphors & references that a person with an average or simple mind (who's clearly not smart enough to understand or could lack even the basic knowledge of how such creativity works) wouldn't get what he's talking about and would think he raps about nothing or he's just rapping random stuff, hence a lot of people still hate on him and trash him for no apparent reason, but I believe that's truly the case. True sometimes you have to re-listen more than once to get some of his bars. Regardless, I'm positive a lot of the hate he receives is out of pure stupidity/low IQ/simple minded (besides the ignorance) since obviously generally the world is filled with simple minded folks. You gotta be a smart-a--- to get his bars and I like that. Just a thought.
Dec 23, 2020 Cheat code how? If the music was trash it wouldnt make any difference. MTBMB alone was his 4th best for me. Now with the second one its an album with almost two hours of music with barely 1-2 skippable tracks. Its his 3rd. So much quality on an album cant go unrecognized.
Dec 23, 2020 Both sides have some skips for me. But if you put your favs from both sides to one you have a good album but its not in my top 3 of his catalog.
Dec 23, 2020 Im like this with Lupe after he went off the deep end lyrically. “Lasers” was the last time it was simple before he just started doing too much Use to be nervous to admit that but, f--- it now. He does too much on his albums. So I would get if Em was rapping at that level but his is not even complex..... To us. People that love lyrics still. But to the average person I can definitely agree with this post. I see how my cousins listen to music. 98% of it is radio driven. The hook and catchphrases is all that matters.
