Dec 23, 2020 Em always perfected things with his 3rd album 1 Prime it was TES (sslp, mmlp, tes) Encore and Relapse were inbetween 1st and 2nd prime Second prime was Revival (Recovery, mmlp2, revival) you also can see it like Relapse, Recovery, Revival and mmlp2 inbetween but Recovery mmlp2 and revival makes more sense since it was a new style and a new decade. so Revival was his perfection of poppy music imo and ppl would take it differently if there weren't so much poppy hooks before (Recovery, h--- the sequel, MMLP2, Shady xv, southpaw) it was stale at this point. So 3rd era is Kamikaze MTBMB A and B I don't call B as his 3rd album so his next one will be interesting indeed. But I don't lie from the hook and production standpoint B is better than Kami and A but see it as you want. I will count his next one the 3rd in the trilogy.
Dec 23, 2020 Killer is also the song that grew on me the most! Its really killer and the only song where his current deep voice fits perfectly.

Dec 23, 2020 some people who are really smart listen to music to turn the brain off and relax. Not everyone wants to decipher puzzles all day and then come home and decipher puzzles as entertainment. this has nothing to do with this album I’m just making a point as one of those people who uses his brain to make a living and then when work is done turns his brain completely off and just wants to enjoy the simple things.

Dec 23, 2020 this thread is getting crazy haha. I’m gonna have to bump this album a little harder but upon my few listens absolutely zero chance this is better then TES and imo zero chance it’s better then SSLP however I understand all the excitement and I’m really digging this album!!

Dec 23, 2020 I honestly feel like people need to sit down in a week or two.. light up a blunt.. and play SSLP from front to back again. I guess I’m just a big fan of my third favourite Eminem album but f--- name one song on side B that’s better then “rock bottom” or “Still don’t give a f---” and a song that’s funner and will get a party going better then “c-m on everybody” or “my fault” Side B doesn’t even compare IMHO. It’s still great music.
Dec 23, 2020 I still don't get over the fact how great the beat switches are. I think I love all of them!? That's also what makes the songs so interesting in my opinion. And even the songs with no complete switch have some nice beat modifications. Awesome!
