Jan 6, 2021 MMLP2 has some great songs. It's just a tracklist issue imo, they should have kept some records far from the album.
Jan 6, 2021 MMLP2 has the same problem as Encore as MTBMB. These are Deluxe editions and extra tracks on these albums. These albums could be classics if there were no garbage tracks and only one CD with the best tracks.
Jan 6, 2021 You definitely should. It is really a great, unique record in the hindsight, just not the one people expected in 2013. But now, when we got what we had wanted, with Kamikaze and MTBMB, it is easier to appreciate Em's vision on MMLP2.

Jan 6, 2021 When I was underground, no one gave a f--- I was white No labels wanted to sign me, almost gave up, I was like "f--- it," until I met Dre, the only one to look past Gave me a chance and I lit a fire up under his a--- Helped him get back to the top, every fan black that I got Was prob'ly his in exchange for every white fan that he's got Like d---, we just swapped: sittin' back lookin' at s---, wow I'm like my skin is it startin' to work to my benefit now? Jan 6, 2021 Recovery is his only truly bad album. After Relapse, I expected something creative and special. This monotonous, shouted, hoarse piece of crap broke my heart, and what is worse, Em left me with it until late 2013.
Jan 6, 2021 Recovery is actually good Cold Wind Blows, Talkin 2 Myself, On Fire, Going Through Changes, Seduction, No Love, Cinderella Man, 25 to Life, Almost Famous, You're Never Over I can understand not liking some of the pop joints, but it definitely isn’t a bad album and has a lot of great songs.
Jan 6, 2021 I heard MMLP2 last year and didn't like it as much as back then, so I never had the urge to hear it again. There are some good songs on it though. Haven't heard The Slim Shady LP or Recovery in a long time as well, ...I gotta check out his discography once more because I don't know how rank his albums nowadays
Jan 6, 2021 He's just screaming all over the place with (from far) his baddest album production at the time
Jan 6, 2021 Recovery was hated just because he used Rihanna f---ing pathetic! Which over shadowed the standout tracks like Talkin To Myself, No Love, Cinderella Man, 25 To Life, Not Afraid and Space Bound. Snoop, Kanye, Lil Wayne, Drake etc all used pop stars for their features and no one says s---! Em did it and all h--- broke f---ing loose!
Jan 6, 2021 You don’t have to say bad to everything you don’t like. I don’t like SSLP but it doesn’t make it bad. It’s just not my cup of a tea Btw Revival is bad due to mixing and ear hurting music choise
Jan 6, 2021 It’s funny because I remember on the D12 World forum when the track list was revealed people were happy he was going that route and the guests were considered “perfect” by many. Love the Way You Lie is actually pretty good for a pop joint.
Jan 6, 2021 That's bs. He dropped Not Afraid first and people were hating. It still did good though. Then I think he released Won't Back Down, same reaction. And then boom, a huge hit with Rihanna, some people hated, but a lot of people loved it, just look at the charts and the views on Youtube.
Jan 6, 2021 Everybody says that, but I enjoy the beats. Maybe they just wanted the beats to be more "rap".
