Jan 13, 2021 Girlfriend didn't to spoil me and get me the 500 dollar autograph testing vinyl so I'll defintely post that when I get it
Jan 13, 2021 I can't wait to see if there's any new pictures on this CD release. I hope the vinyl release is like the Shady XV vinyl where it's more like a really thick book and each LP has it's own sleeve and all the pictures and credits are blown up and high quality. I don't know why his stuff on vinyl takes so long, there's been a lot of releases throughout 2020 from pretty big artists and they too had their vinyl releases on the same day as the CDs so I don't know if things are still bad at the pressing plants and maybe those labels have bought and paid for a number of releases per year and they can fast track what they want on release day or maybe Eminem just has to wait his turn or maybe they do it deliberately to try and spread the merchandise out throughout the year. I'm pretty sure that Interscope could in 2021, request that Eminem's vinyl release gets brought forward even if it means another artist has to have a longer release period.
Jan 13, 2021 I'm not a fan of some of the modern hip hop production and that turned me off a lot of songs from Side A and Side B but sometimes I think Eminem tries to hard to do his MMLP voice. There's some lines near the end of Black Magic like this and it almost comes across as robotic and it's in the MMLP2 aswell. I think Discombobulated also sounds like So Bad from Recovery.
Jan 13, 2021 But that is actually his voice. Actually what you're saying is backwards... we all know he's got 1,000 styles, but this 'mmlp voice' is his most natural - hence he sounds exactly like it when talking. He's trying to sound like something else when he's doing every other style, for example - Recovery tone, Relapse tone.
Jan 13, 2021 'Racist', shut the fucccccck up. Also I'm the biggest anti-establishment and anti-whatever guy in general, I hate heigharachy and authority, and censorship... but under the guise of a legal system... this isn't even a shocking thing; Everything in the REAL WORLD should be admissible as evidence lol. Just because some rappers say some or all of their work is fiction; isn't about rap - anything can be evidence, why would rap be excluded. It's up to the lawyers, court and jury to decide if it's valid or not. Or maybe up to rappers to not be stupid and admit real life crimes and present their work as autobiography to look tough.
Jan 13, 2021 With you on 'Black Magic'. That was skippable after 5 seconds. Other two are two of the album's best tracks though.
