Jan 15, 2021 I don’t understand where this narrative comes from that Revival was a mature album. It has the same content as every album before & after it. Remind Me, Heat, Offended, Framed, Chloraseptic... Abusive relationship anthems also, aren’t mature.
Jan 15, 2021 Yeah, that's what I've always thought about Revival as well. He painted that idea that it was "the woke Eminem", but it wasn't at all. Yeah he did address some stuff (not in any sort ofmusically pleasing way, to be honest) like on Untouchable, Like Home and Nowhere Fast, but it's far from a "woke" or mature album.
