Jan 16, 2021 Even a direct story throughout a project like this that dropped today: He needs to expand on his creativity, maybe travel after COVID & see different cultures or even go to LA & be in the studio with talented musicians, young upcoming talent, not what the label tells you to work with. Get involved in the culture etc - as the creative side is heavily lacking for such a great writer & it’s hard to not conclude that being cooped up in Detroit isn’t the catalyst for the problem. Although MTBMB is a great project, it missed the mark on its potential with the theme. The samples & artwork all showed signs that this was going to be a masterpiece but it was more of the same. I could see Em really harken on the criticism & spend a couple of years working on the next solo, which I think might become his retirement album.

Jan 16, 2021 I like Side B, I like the songs and the flows. But the similes and puns are awful. I don't mind puns at all, but when they're done well - for example throughout 'The Ringer'... these are well written puns. But Side B is Revival-level, with the super lazy 'like x, 'like y' structure, almost every line... ''catch her like a common cold''... I mean, come on. Just unnecessary and takes away from the song, the line and the moment.

Jan 16, 2021 Watched No Life Shaq called Untouchable an amazing track and knew right then that he didn’t have it in him to call an Em song bad. Reaction channels are supposed to be about authenticity, and when you can’t call a horrible sounding song horrible, you’re missing the mark.
Jan 16, 2021 So a good friend of mine hit me up last night and he's a big Em fan too. He likes every Em album expect for this one (Side B ) He told me its monoton, boring, s-----y voice, s-----y flows. He only liked the first half of Book Of Rhymes. And he find Higher and Discombobulated Okey at best. He never was this dissapointed with an Em album ever. He gave it a few spins and didn't change his mind. I don't made this up cause his opinion is similar to mine cause I prefer songs like Higher, She Loves Me and Discombobulated over Book of rhymes!
Jan 16, 2021 This is the only decent A-level song out of 36 songs. Higher only has a good chorus, but Eminem's terrible verses with his terrible voice. This does not reach the level of Recovery.

Jan 16, 2021 Discombobulated is the only song that reminded me in 2020 that old Eminem is still alive and can do the great rap that I was a fan of in the 2000s. All his songs should be of this quality level. Unfortunately, this is only the only song of the entire year that has a high quality like a decade ago. It's not even that it sounds like an authentic song from Relapse. This song has a very high quality - flow, voice, beat, lyrics. Everything here is 10/10. This is the highest class. This is the only song in recent years that has 10/10 from me for all parameters. If Eminem hadn't released this song, then I would have listened to Side B and after a couple of days I would have forgotten about this album (like it was with Kamikaze and Side A). But then I heard Discombobulated and this is the reason why I registered here. This is the only song from the album that I still listen to.
