Jan 18, 2021 Killshot has a much more reserved delivery & effortless flow - much like his more recent music, minus the triple time flows in comparison to a lot of Kamikaze. Personally I enjoy both but they are noticeably different & it’s clearly a style choice as public opinion mattered the most here. I remember when it dropped thinking at the time that Em had already honed in on the criticism & perfected the style.
Jan 18, 2021 Truth is I haven’t listened to Tes in a long time. Might be time to give it another spin but I’m listening to kam and mtbmb and that’s the stuff from em that I spin in 2020/2021. As someone who loves all forms of music and appreciates it as art I am not overly biased towards one style over the other - I find both styles to be top notch for different reasons. I will agree that overall the music is less consistent but the good songs make it worth it to me. I’m not holding my breath at this point waiting for a flawless album from Em at this point - he is trying to appeal to way too many different types of fans for that to ever happen.

Tarantino said once how 'if you like Jackie Brown the most out of my movies, you're probably not one of my biggest fans' aka that's the least Tarantino-Tarantino movie. And much more 'him' is things like Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained. i feel the same about those feats. Casual or non-usual Em fans like them the most.

Jan 18, 2021 I have the theory that Em uses features to how "test" new flows, voice tones, styles, etc resonate with his audience. I think he's been doing that since after Revival. It started with the Chloraseptic Remix
Jan 18, 2021 Yup. +1 All of the features have been clear indicators on his newer flows. FNC and Moon Man clearly had that laid back, chill flow we got in M2BMB.
