Jan 19, 2021 Feefo on the bs yet again. He loved MMLP2 but now talking s---. Lol B, Feefo, and Ken had the most basic take on this. At least as always Myke gave a reason why.
Jan 19, 2021 man if em dropped a video for discombobulated with shaven beard and white t shirt like relapse days that be dope
Jan 19, 2021 Like........ You can’t hear something like “Darkness” and then question this man’s pen because of “Alfred’s theme” and “Tone deaf”. Myke really had a issue with the “Piss piss off” again bars. Bro. Lol. That was not a bar to be taken seriously
Jan 19, 2021 Dead End Hip Hop said a lot of FACTS regarding Em's recent output. At the end of the day, what he's saying doesn't hold any weight. He was able to do his zany rap about non-sense mainly due to the fact he had lots of other content based around his life. Now, it is too lopsided. Ultimately, the most frustrating thing is knowing he has the ability but whether he is able to tap into that magic is another question.
Jan 19, 2021 Nah. Not a fan of this review. Or the original one for MTBMB. Especially Feefo. As if he wasn’t praising MMLP2 but now Em is “Devoid of content” but said you haven’t liked anything. And B had that tired “Since 2003” argument. And really? The production is bad? Lol. Yeah. Their opinion of course. Just not a fan of both reviews
Jan 19, 2021 I respect these guys opinions most of the time and I can't really argue with a lot of what they're saying even if I enjoy the album cause at the end of the day whether you enjoy his new music or not a lot of what they're saying is fair
Jan 19, 2021 Yeah that's my biggest gripe with their em reviews is that they backpedal on a bunch of what they said in previous em reviews
Jan 19, 2021 Yeah myke always gives the best and most detailed descriptions on why he doesn't like something instead of basing something solely on feeling
Jan 19, 2021 Them pointing out eminem calling this a side b to save face from bad reception is so true. You cant call it a side b to ab album that came a month before all the covid s--- and have the album be filled with covid bars he deadass wrote most of this album last year and knew it was trash before putting it put and instead of calling it a new album he went with the side b bs s--- corny
Jan 19, 2021 Great line But this beat needed an aggressive Em. I still enjoy it, but it was a little too laid back for me, also the "what I did was nothing to sneeze at even if ur allergies are bad" is v unnecessary n corny
Jan 19, 2021 I need another song from Em that just gives me the chills. Just full of that despair and existential dread.
Jan 20, 2021 I hope am manages to make a closer as great as discombobulated. the way the final beat closes the album out is phenomenal
Jan 20, 2021 Em needs to stop trying to make the haters happy. They will hate it no matter what because they don’t want to admit they hate themselves. The content argument is tired, he has said plenty, haters are just hearing what they want to hear. B side 10/10. Alfreds theme god d---.
Jan 20, 2021 The last beat is f---ing incredible man. It really deserved better if we’re being honest.
Jan 20, 2021 I think this will be most people’s response to this album. I disagree about the beat choices, but for the most part these terrible similes and punchlines are pointless. It’s strange comparing his lyrics on Kamikaze to Side B. Can’t remember any s-----y puns on Kamikaze at all.
Jan 20, 2021 Of course we are in minority. Spotify charts have been making it clear for years to me. I said it few times already but most of the chart s--- don't appeal to me like they did a decade ago. I'm a guy who can enjoy any type of music when it's good. Again, I'm just talkin' musicality wise here. No lyrical, no content wise thing. Pure musical, sonical pleasing. Hits of our days don't appeal to me. h---, most of the rap hits sound identical to my ears and I really have hard times thinkin' how some of those songs become so popular. It's usually more about the music videos, the basic dance moves that people can repeat, and of course basic words that they can repeat too, promotion etc. rather than how the music actually sounds. Don't get me wrong it was never completely about the music itself with mainstream but sure mainstream songs had better musical significance in many ways. Think of songs like Still DRE, p---- or I don't know pop ones like Toxic, they all had their own very unique sounds, like when you hear those you instantly know what it is. I know it's a bit subjective but I'm not just talkin' about my taste here, there is some objective truth into what I'm sayin' here.
