Jan 25, 2021 I don't understand why they stopped the singles before the album. Now em just drops and people who are not stans are like "ok cool, now we move on and wait for the next one", enjoying the few mv released and that's it. Dropping the single before the album allows fans to get an idea of the color of the project and to not hype them for nothing if they don't like. Plus it's a whole era to live that creates excitement and a strong expectation. So yeah, I can't understand why. That's like racing for the second place to me.

So in response, Em moved to surprise releases to avoid the disappointment? How does he not understand that making a better album would solve the issue?
