Feb 21, 2021 That Windex dude making more of these btw. Just sign him to Shady Creators at this point, he made like 20 videos.
Feb 21, 2021 I didn't like MOTM3. Cudi's hooks used to be 10 times harder and way more catchy back then.
Feb 21, 2021 Aren’t you the one who kept on saying “10 more mins”. Your right I am clueless because I’m here. Like I said leaking info is not the same as leaking actual songs. I can do without the “inside” info.
Feb 22, 2021 Says the dude who picks "Black Magic" as the best song on side B. Ok buddy Lmfao hand those unreleased songs over. You don't need them. I'm a real Stan. If it wasn't for me half of this album would of sounded different I had him go to the Relapse style on a few songs. You didn't. You jealous
Feb 22, 2021 Marketing plan all along to build towards what we got after. He needed a reason to flip the switch so Revival was the bait that everyone fell for
Feb 22, 2021 You’re telling me that was a legitimate album that wasn’t full of leftovers from various points of the last few years? It was like a s-----y vision into the last decade which received a s--- load of hate which was easily flipped into Kami then just built on it from there
Feb 22, 2021 Yeah but the puns are so awful. I can bare a lot or even bad puns... but it's like CONSTANT. It's like Revival x 10.
Feb 22, 2021 If he would just perform the same hook? Nah. Would rather hear a more dark hook that fits the song. And yeah that is def something cudi could have done !
Feb 22, 2021 Are you f---ing r-----ed and completely missed like 2 posts ago where I said it was an album of leftovers? There’s still absolutely no way Eminem thought the album was trash and tried to tank a studio release intentionally. He still thinks it was a good album and that someday people will appreciate it. He even says so twice since then.
Feb 22, 2021 He also says on Kamikaze: He ain’t spittin’ like this on his last s--- - ho you better go back n listen you know me better thinking I’ll slow or let up - call it trap cos it’s a total setup hopin’ that you rappers fall in that But then defends it too, weird either way. Man’s a walking contradiction. I also can’t see him releasing a dud album on purpose, he has done something similar before but it’s argued that drugs were the cause somehow, but Revival definitely has a few leftovers on it & the pop hooks, Alex Da Kid, everything he was being clowned for but baring in mind he also gained a whole lot of fans through that pop-rap period, it’s like he doubled down on the Recovery route. Maybe he was testing the water, if people liked it, he would continue down that path, if they trashed it, he could act reactionary & give himself some fresh content. He does state multiple times on Revival that he’s ran out of gas so to speak, maybe he was searching for that inspiration.
Feb 22, 2021 This is a way less s-----y and more believable point than “lel he made the album as bait.” I get the feeling too that he was lacking inspiration, hence pulling leftover tracks like the one that is 75% another artist on this album. I saw mostly positive feedback about Framed, however, and I’m disappointed he didn’t take that input into consideration and make a more Relapse-esque album. Although some are saying Discombobulated is Relapse-esque, but I don’t hear it. also the part right before what you bolded is IMO him defending revival.
Feb 22, 2021 They're terrible. Revival-esque lazy similes and really contrived, yet simplistic and unnecessary. Like for example -"we're an unlikely pair like two Nike airs", and given the context; ilke, come on lol.
