Apr 17, 2021 I mea. Shady fans not f---ing with them or the other guys Em has signed recently. They would have sold much more on Shady if Shady fans had connected with their music. Yela kinda had a moment, but things went downhill right after. But anyway, I just wanted to know if he was trashing Em, that's it.
Apr 17, 2021 The amount of consistency & quality in their work is insane. Idk what's up with people calling them repetitive. Why fix something that is working? And they're still expanding their art nonetheless. Westside Gunn, a boom bapper is out here working with Travis and Playboi Carti. A top-tier lyricist like Benny is making music with Drake & using top-tier beats with different vibes. Conway is pretty versatile too. I don't see any problem. They're reviving the oldest genre of hip hop & are cool with the newer generation as well (unlike Eminem). Literally everything how a new age boom bap artist should be. Open minded, skilled, with an eye for beats and features.
Apr 17, 2021 Whats funny is this is pretty much a burner project to keep the fans happy since God Dont Make Mistakes got delayed again. Based off the snippets that album is really gona shake the game. He got Ross and Wayne on the same song.
Apr 18, 2021 I liked Westside Gunn - Pray for Paris / WHO MADE THE SUNSHINE from last year @SKUX GOD is the one to ask about griselda tbh, I haven’t listened to all their music
Apr 18, 2021 They have a massive discography between the three of them, I can't say I've listened to it all. But, I would highly recommend these essentials: Westside Gunn - FlyGod They'd been grinding in the underground for years but this was pretty much their breakout moment in 2016. Introduced them to a much larger audience and caught everyones attention. Still stands as Gunn's best project imo. Pray for Paris is also definitely worth a listen. Benny the Butcher - Tana Talk 3 Everything Benny's dropped since this has been cool, but he hasn't got even close to the heights he achieved on this. I'd go as far as to call this a modern day classic. Elite-level rapping. Griselda - WWCD This is the only album that materialised out of the Shady partnership and thankfully besides the garbage Em verse has no other interference. All three of them just go back and forth non-stop, it took me back to early Wu-Tang days. FKTAG is by far Conway's best album I've heard - I know he's got a ton of great mixtapes but of the few that I've heard I really liked GOAT and Blakk Tape. Can't go wrong with either of those but @SKUX GOD will correct me if i'm wrong.
Apr 18, 2021 @Koolo You can't got wrong with griselda projects tbh, they are very consistent. I would start with Griselda - WWCD. Thats a good starting point. Reject 2 is probably conways most celebrated project aAfter FKTAG. Conway and westside - Hall and Ash is a classic and pretty much where it all started GOAT, griselda ghost and Everybody is food mixtapes also go hard. Tana talk 3, plugs i met and burden of proof are probably top 3 benny projects. For westside gunn, Supreme blientel and fly God is an awesome God are more essential griselda projects that havnt been mentioned. Also all the Hitler wears hermes tapes.
Apr 18, 2021 He basically said that he is a snake and shouldn’t be dissing Em for giving him the opportunity on Shady. I agree, it’s pretty f----- up by Griselda.
Apr 24, 2021 Conway easily the best in the group. If Westside didn’t have that high pitched voice I’d f--- with him so much more cos some of his lyrics are gold but it’s just one of them things that I can’t stand. Benny isn’t as interesting as the other two. About to spin this project.
