    Is interlude maybe the intro? It sounds like an intro. Obviously it doesn’t really make sense for a song called interlude to be the intro but The Off-season is kind of an interlude before The Fall Off.

    Edit: it also sounds like he’s teeing up an absolute b-----r for the next track. And we know how track 2 usually is..

    I made 3 trips to target for KOD 3 Friday's in a row. I eventually got it from amazon. Cole himself said he couldn't find it so maybe they'll fix that this time around.

    I can’t get over how good this beat is. Is this the best beat he’s rapped over on one of his own albums? If not, what?

    I did appreciate him saying that. Dude can still spit there’s no doubt about that, his sound overall has just moved away from what I liked about him early on. Still excited for the project tho

    Think one of the main reasons he's releasing the album now is, the NBA playoffs start in the next 2 weeks. Wouldn't be surprised if they're are playing songs off the album during the promos. The theme of the album could tie in with basketball as well

    Cole always speaking on current times. 2018 it was kod with the addiction, now it’s all these n----s killing n----s. I mean it’s been going on, but it seems like it’s at an all time high now, especially with the young dudes. Police killings are going on too, but I think black on black crime (even tho n----s say it don’t exist, I get that too) is a bigger issue, and it’s a bigger issue to me, I done seen too many n----s die young as h--- over the years, by the gun of another young black n-----. I know dudes who died we was in middle school and high school. nobody should be dying that young by gun violence. back then it seemed normal even tho it was sad, but looking back, that s--- was not normal, n----s were babies running the streets and g--- banging smh. And it’s still going on in 2021, and it seems like the youngings now even more wilder than they was back then. These young dudes will lay you out for a lil money, that’s why I try to stay out the way

    This is great, man. I can’t really speak on it like that. I wonder if one of the reasons it seems worse or wilder now, is that when you’re that age and in it, you’re kind of numb to it as a survival and coping mechanism. And if you survive and when you get older, you see it for what it always was, a f---ing tragedy. What do you think about that?

    yea, that’s probably some of what it is, plus dudes get older and they have kids and they mature.. I never g--- banged , but mostly everybody I was friends with did.. my parents kept me out the streets, I could’ve easily been in it. I remember my homeboy gave me an bandana back when we was in middle school, I took it home with me, I forgot I had that b---- hanging out my back pocket, my dad seen it and snatched it right out my pocket lol.. like what you think you doing with this?? Lol. But it’s like n----s just be in a spell , and the they don’t snap out of that s--- til they get older.. some survive , some die before they can get older and realize it wasn’t worth it and it’s more to life.
