    This is such an overreaction to the recent events. More Israelis will probably die from invading Gaza than from Hamas’s rocket fire. Make it make sense…

    I think the most frustrating part about this issue from an American POV is you get a lot of people on the left yelling for U.S. government to take certain actions that aren’t guaranteed to make anything better. For instance, ceasing all military aid to Israel is a big one. If the U.S. stopped all military aid today, rockets wouldn’t stop flying. The fighting would continue. It just makes you think that a lot of these people who claim to care about Palestinian lives simply don’t want their government involved in their bloodshed. They don’t actually care about their conditions as long as their government isn’t involved.

    that’s not to say the U.S. threatening to cut military aid can’t be a useful bargaining tool in diplomatic talks to force Israel’s hand into brokering a cease fire or restarting peace talks, whatever. These things have to be done strategically though & everyone just loves to oversimplify.

    If Israel claim that Palestine is their land now, why would they blow it up day and night? Why would someone destroy a place that belongs to them? No one would right. It's that simple. Hitler was right for doing whatever he did.

    + Since the US regime always unconditionally supported Israel for decades, why they don't come up with the solution of sharing their land with Israel and putting an end to this once and for all?

    US regime has always been full of s--- no matter who is in the white house.

    The same way people and the world stood and stand with black people is the same way people should stand with Palestine. It's all about Humanity and fighting oppression wherever you are & wherever you come from.

    The "only" long term solution you suggested has been the solution for like 600 yrs now and people are just dying, not agreeing on anything.

    Agreement between the 2 falls to majority rules. And I think it's about time the entire world goes "majority rules, everyone in the world agrees Israel's getting nuked if u c---- don't work this out"
