May 27, 2021 @CreativeSXN bumping because I was thinking of pushing another track to playlists. Chasing is on 157 playlists already and has 74k streams. Punches is on like 5 playlists and has 1.7k streams. So basically just needed advice on if I should push another track and which one?
May 27, 2021 If your goal is that you want people to listen and like your music I’d spend more time to honing your craft and less time buying features and pushing them to playlists for cheap streams. Cuz even if you get crooked I fans to listen to you like that, they’re listening for crooked I and not you. Hone your craft first and do this later.
May 27, 2021 Genuine question, why are you paying for followers and promotion all over your social media, particularly your IG? instead of working on your craft, you are just throwing Money around. There’s no passion, no heart. Really disheartening tbh, Being successful isn’t about how much Money is in your pocket.
May 27, 2021 You have thousands of followers, majority have no profiles or posts or anything. Bots are in your comments for promotion as well.
May 27, 2021 I haven’t paid for followers in anything? Only thing I’ve paid for is playlist pushing. As far as my ig I just get on there and go through Artists that I follow and spam follow all of their followers so idk about that lol
May 27, 2021 And if you think there is no passion or heart in my music you are crazy, literally that’s the most common praise I get, that they can feel the emotion
May 27, 2021 I think you should start performing small local shows since you have such a following. It’ll be good for you.
May 27, 2021 This. Atleast some type of reality check to see if people really fw your music as much as you think they do
May 27, 2021 Yeah people keep telling me I need to start performing but I have a bit of stage fright issue lol. And definitely wouldn’t do well locally because I make the sad storytelling woe is me type of music and in my town and surrounding areas they only listen to club music and buck wild s--- lmao. Most of my following(which is not that big I only have 63 followers on Spotify and only like 195 followers in my Facebook artist page or something like that. And like I said my ig is just spam following people so none of them are actual fans.) I never claimed to have a huge following though, just have a small dedicated following of people from like small towns and s--- who resonate with the type of music I make. I’m not trying to make it big or anything like that, my whole goal is to just make music that can help people deal with life.
May 27, 2021 Also to clear this up, I’m not paying actual playlists to put me on them, I’m paying a person who then sends my song to playlists for consideration for me because I’m also manually sending it to playlists on my own but there’s only so much I can do at once. And the guy that I pay the playlist owners send me back feedback on on the track I send and all that.
May 27, 2021 I definitely think you have passion/passionate writing, but translating that passion to a song is a lot more difficult. Like I have faith in my writing abilities in general but I doubt I could translate that into a legitimately great piece of music
May 27, 2021 I agree it is much more difficult translating it to an actual song. I usually record the same verse 20 some odd times because I don’t feel like the emotion in my voice was as much as it should be.
