I was 12 when I went to Detroit and it was the middle of Winter. Nothing but fond memories but not somewhere I wouldn't imagine wanting to go to as an adult.

Chicago was cool. Went there on a work trip. It was my Birthday and the Blackhawks were playing in a playoff game so I was happy as h---! I'd go back just for nostalgia.

That's absolutely the plan! Maybe we can enjoy a few fine Australian beverages together, if I survive the spiders, mate :emoji_pray:

How you not interested in France lol Paris is one of the coolest places to visit. But yeah, travelling when you're too young is pretty pointless since you won't remember much.

Honestly the biggest reason I'm not interested in them is that they're so much more expensive to travel to than a lot of other places. I'd love to see them again as an adult, they're just not high on my list. I'm more of a rough and tumble budget traveler, I'm tryina stay in hostels and eat street food and explore and meet locals/likeminded travelers and have cultural experiences/visit cultural sites/museums. Eating expensive French food and s--- just doesn't really appeal to me (though I'm sure there's a lot of more budget-friendly options and great things to do in expensive western european countries).

Disagree, but I obviously went there as a tourist, I don't know how it is to live there.
