We've accepted it as normal but would sound weird to aligned to anything else. Like, I'm going to England. You know, the Capital City of England? Off for a city break to Barcelona, Barcelona! Jul 24, 2021 Sex sells, Cardi would have been big in any era. Female rappers used to pretend they were strippers/thots. Cardi was actually one. Eve too, I know. French has also been around for a minute, he could have made it earlier. He just would be another rapper, not anything big.
Jul 24, 2021 Let's not worry about what happened before any of us was born. I like your list, lots of discussion. Yes, Biggie should be in there over Nas imo but I still think the most debatable is the most recent decade. If love it to be Pop but (and yes, of course some will disagree with this) but I don't really think he "earned" that title until after his death. That shouldn't count. I just don't know who deserves it.
