    Should have given Zidane the job years ago after Oles interim run ended. Have to agree with Souness and Carragher, coaches like Carrick and McKenna who have never coached at this level before for one of the biggest clubs in the world, especially when they’re coaching top experienced players like Ronaldo, is a recipe for disaster.

    I had faith in Mike Phelan when he returned because of what he did with Fergie, but the more I see his work with Ole more I think it just proves how good Sir Alex was a manager. I have to admit at this point I’d be genuinely happy to see Zidane brought in asap (although of course it’s very unlikely). I wouldn’t want Conte managing us though.

    We just don’t have a set system or style of play at all. Looks like we rely on individual brilliance of Bruno\Greenwoon/Ronaldo etc too much. And id take a Matic/Pogba midfield as starters over Fred and Mctominay any day btw. I actually think Pogba plays better on the right hand side of a midfield 2, rather than on the left of a 3, which people love to point out because of how good he was as that at Juve. But that’s only cuz he had Pirlo and Vidal alongside him.

    Brother trust me with conte they won’t do s--- as long as this portugese c---- is still playing there. He is a pain in the arse for coaches like him

    Allegri hated him, sarri had trouble with him(admitted that he had to shape the team around ronaldo’s “personal interests”), so yea conte would probably hate him too

    Don’t see how Ole still in the job. I went to the game last Sunday and walked out half time, never done that before. I been at games when we lost 6-1 to City and endured the Moyes era. Never left the ground early once.

    The coaching is horrendous from him, to all his staff. No tactics, freestyle football, clueless to change and has his favourites.

    There is no coming back from this as he would have to undermine everything he has done to change, which he won’t do as he is too stubborn or he sticks what he been doing for years now and just sink even further. He could win against Tottenham and City but doesn’t mean anything as he has won one off games against them before and then we resort to the same old s--- again. Depressing as it gets.

    If Man U gets Conte and he likes Ronaldo then things will change. I would even go that far that they could win the PL next season

    United should be easy title challengers with that squad and any half decent manager would get them there.

    Tbf though with Conte I think they have too many attacking players to fit in.

    Still need 2 CDMs though. No PL championship winning team would have Fred and McTominay.
    Say two because need a backup as well, as soon as Fred or McTominay play that position it gonna f--- things up, and Matic is finished.

    Honestly though I think teams like City and Liverpool are too far ahead squad wise…Chelsea seem to be getting there too this season.

    Diego Simeone's son just scored against Juve for Verona after scoring 4 goals against Lazio 2 weeks ago.

    7 goals in 8 games this season in Serie A, guy's a beast.

    EDIT: Simeone just scored his 2nd goal against Juventus and what a goal my god.
