You can joke about anything—just depends on the context. What Rock said wasn’t even that harsh and to be honest not that funny…it was just an off the cuff quick lil joke by him.

People can be offended by jokes all they want. They can be offended and not think something is funny. Best thing to do is not take it too seriously—because jokes are jokes. Words meant to be funny. Comedians shouldn’t have to walk on eggshells because certain people are fragile and can’t handle jokes.

To take things in your own hands and physically assault someone over a joke is never okay. Like I said, they could’ve addressed their issue with the joke personally with Chris. If Will (and Jada) didn’t raise a stink about it and escalate to violence it would’ve been forgotten. Now it’s a way bigger thing than it ever should’ve been.

Don’t like a joke? Don’t laugh and move on. Don’t take it too personally because you’re insecure. Don’t assault someone over it because you can’t handle it.

Joking is cool… but if you can joke on someone, especially about some touchy s---, you can take how that person reacts to it lol. And if that person slap your a---, you better take it, or slap their a--- back lol. I agree, I would’ve handled that different, but shiddd, Will let his emotions get the best of him, and snapped lol. s--- will be alright. I hope they can have a sit down, and really laugh at it and squash this whole s---.

and that Charlie sheen s--- different, that was a roast of him, and he agreed to it. the oscars was not a jada and will roast session. I didn’t see the oscars, but I heard Chris rock was constantly going at them lmfaooo. If he would’ve stuck to Will, he def would’ve took the jokes, but once you cross that line and clown a man wife, and in front of him at that, you can’t get mad if the man snap on your a--- lol. Will was not wrong, I’m standing by it. I’m all for peace, but sometimes you gotta snap lol. He ain’t k--- Chris rock, he just slapped him up one good time, all this s--- gon pass over

We ain’t gonna agree on that issue @Uncle Luke and that’s okay. Roasts happen at every awards show. These celebrities are worth millions. No need for the hurt feelings!

I hope Chappelle and other comedians have a field day with Will and Jada. You know that’s probably gonna happen now that they made a big deal of this. And I hope they’ll learn it’s not personal and learn to take jokes.
